A quick question concerning the spark advance, throttle controls. These have the built notches that look worn, have you considered taking a file to them? I’m wondering if you can actually feel this as you move the levers?
Yes, we cleaned the notches with something similar to a dental pick. Lots of grime and debris build up in them over time and a cleaning often helps. Some do end up bent up as well, which is a little harder to repair.
