Seeing the old 70's/80's Louisville TV clips brings back memories as a child when both my parents were alive. Thank you sharing these great memories with us.
0:14: both the intro and outro versions of the WAVE 3 Sunday Night Movie were used, voiced by Tom Wills, who, for 40 years, was a longtime meteorologist at WAVE 3 from 1969-2009: Intro: “Welcome to the WAVE Sunday Night Movie. Tonight’s movie is based on the beloved classic book by E.B. White. It’s an animated musical story about the spider devoting her life to a friend, who becomes Homer Zuckerman’s prized pig. It’s an extraordinary, terrific, radiant and humble animated adventure of trust, friendship and love, and it’s all spun from Charlotte’s Web, starring Debbie Reynolds and Henry Gibson, your Sunday Night Movie.”-Tom Wills. Outro: “We hope you have enjoyed the WAVE Sunday Night Movie: Charlotte’s Web, and invite you to join us next Sunday for Rock-a-Doodle, starring Glen Campbell and Christopher Plummer. Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow night at 7:30 when Bill Cullen hosts The $25,000 Pyramid. Don’t miss this exciting game show, tomorrow night at 7:30, right after To Tell The Truth, here on TV-3!”-Tom Wills.
0:42: “Cloris Leachman and Roger Miller try to climb to the top of The $25,000 Pyramid with host Bill Cullen, tomorrow night at 7:30, right after To Tell The Truth, here on TV-3!”-Chuck Casteel.
TV listings in the Louisville Courier-Journal date this to May 26, 1975 (Mon.) at around 1:30 AM. According to the newspaper, the WAVE Sunday night movie that evening (5/25) was "Escape From Fort Bravo" (1953). But freeze the frame at the very beginning of the clip and you'll see the cast list for "The Illustrated Man" (1969). WAVE-TV obviously swapped films and didn't/couldn't inform the newspapers of the change before they went to press. "Countdown" (1968) was scheduled to air the following Sunday (June 1, 1975). Also for those keeping score: This may be the earliest known recording of a station sign-off using the "Flag Evolution" film, which was only a few years old at this point.
And then, To Tell the Truth with the late Garry Moore and The $25,000 Pyramid with the late Bill Cullen would air on WAVE 3 the very next night at 7:00pm and 7:30pm, respectively, following NBC Nightly News with John Chancellor and David Brinkley.
To think, in the 70's, WAVE's Sunday Night Late Movie was the end to a blockbuster line-up of Sunday Night programming, like NBC's weekly Sunday Mystery Movie featuring rotating hits like Columbo, McCloud and McMillian and Wife.

I knew when I heard this song and saw those pictures, I was up WAY too late
That’s an NBC affiliate in Louisville.
and the first post-war television station in Kentucky.
And it paved the way for future Kentucky TV stations such as WHAS, WLEX, WKYT, WLKY, KET, WDRB, WBKI, WBNA and WDKY.
The cast list for the movie at the start of the video is The Illustrated Man
WAVE wove it's magic wand of last-minute switcheroo.
Wave used that Flag Evolution national anthem all the way up to the 2000s.

Didn't know the Flag Evolution appeared on WAVE as far back as the mid 70's. I remember it so well back in the early 2000's!

Does anyone know the title of the theme song that provided the bumper music within the outro of the movie, including the composer and release date?
Is the Voiceover at 0:21 Chuck Casteel?
Yep 👍🏻!
Chuck Castile was the voice of NBC Louisville, Kentucky affiliate WAVE 3 for many years from sign-on to sign-off, and the National Association of Broadcasters Television Code Seal of Good Practice was used for WAVE-TV Channel 3's Notice until 1986. Chuck Casteel was also the host of WAVE 3’s longest-running quiz show “High Q.” RIP Chuck Casteel (1942-2012)

WAVE 3 is now a sister station to WKYT, which was launched in 1957, 9 years after WAVE was launched.
Definitely before 1981 if I’m not mistaken.
