As someone that consciously decided to let go of all material possessions including my home, career, and bank account after a massive awakening (I woke up in a life that was no longer my own.) I took 4 years off and started my own company to put my passion and creativity out there and help others find passion and purpose. Your videos are so insightful and inspiring! Even in the pursuit of letting go of what society values and considers high status is also status. 🤯

One of the things I love the most about your videos is that you're not afraid of darkness and the shadow. Sometimes, we must transform ourselves in that thing we are scared the most, that thing we reject... that is the path to power, we empower ourselves by becoming the personification of our biggest fears.

    I can't agree 100% with status game.
If we go to the extreme of each sides (I know this is not the ideal case).
The extreme of status game will endup with a fake world.
However the extreme of no status game will endup with pure and realistic value based world.
However I agree that this is the test. The test for humanity. For how much you gonna care about the materialism and the surface level VS the depth and spiritual also the real value of the things.
This made me thought about a saying from prophet Mohamed "God does not look at your appearance or your money, but rather looks at your hearts and deeds"
I am not saying that you are 100% wrong. but this is my interpretation.
    Thank you.

For a lot of content creators out there including myself, it seems like the world is saturated already with enough value in all the niches. However, as the niche yourself, you can provide value with your own spin using your previous experience and interests to leave value to your audience.
I am trying to do that by exploring a variety of different interests with fitness, travel, and other niches in one TH-cam channel. The results are mixed but hey I started two months and have kept it consistent so far.

I think it's important to be aware and honest with our desire is for status, and bring it out of the shadows. BUT all the while being honest with its limitations and trappings, which ensnare the best of us.
I believe in our Soul's journey, our motive moves from safety to pleasure to status to purpose to Love. To the degree we're steeped in Universal Love, we can safely discard the pursuit and burden of status (allowing it to arise and fall away as it may). But let's not be in denial if we aren't.

Hey Dan and commenters, im thinking of going to the place my ancestors are from, its on the other side of the world on a remote island. Going to kneel in the sand at sunrise and see what sigil, crest or sentence forms in my consciousness with my eyes closed and then use it at my north star in life. There are too many distractions and making a living and finding purpose seem nearly impossible, things I felt were 100% part of my human nature appear to be derivative of some sort of social media algorithm. It was frightening the amount of soul searching it required to reveal this simple fact. love is fractal and hate is a straight line. God bless

7:34 Just sharing a cool example from my experience. In highschool, there was rampant hazing in fraternities that students are literally dying every semester. So one of the cool ways school orgs addressed this was by creating a seemingly high-status secretive organization that looks like a fraternity from the front (with all the rituals and public humiliation shit) but during 'formation' they were introduced to self-improvement, getting good grades. The families of these kids were also contacted in an effort to restore family connections. Many students from actual frats, end up joining this secretive org and the main directive is to keep what happens on the inside secret. No student was killed 2008 onwards. Just very cool.
But yeah around 2016 students were unaliving themselves again, so yeah (tangent) I don't know what happened. They went from being killed to ending their own lives.

Always enjoy your videos. Appreciate you creating and sharing. While watching this, one question kept repeating, “Do you have any women that have influenced you?” You mention and quote many men but I haven’t heard you reference women. This isn’t coming from some feminist status, I am actually curious. Seems like a lot of influence is placed on male thought leaders. Are there any women of equal or higher status? When you speak of and quote male leaders then say help humanity. It led me to a realization that my life has been influenced in multiple areas by mostly men of high status. Where are or are there women of equal or higher status? Yet all of this is supposed to help and elevate humanity. Would be refreshing to get perspective of both. We as humans emulate what is relatable. We gravitate towards or try things that we perceive others doing that resonate with us and believe we can achieve similar or better results when we initially connect with similarities with that other person. I wonder what a female version of Ekhart Tolle, Nassim Haramein, or Dan Koe would sound like? What perspective would we glean? Being female, it would be nice to have witnessed a balance in female to male mentors growing up. Instead of being female and trying to emulate a male perspective. Thank you again for another thought provoking video. Looks like I’m going to be taking a trip down the rabbit hole today! 😊❤

Very good content, thank you very much! Your insights and the way you present complex topics are, as always, inspiring. I also recently read your book "The Art of Focus"! It really impressed me and made me think... Your views, especially the idea that anyone can be successful as a one-man business, have stuck with me. However, I personally face challenges... (the presumably (?) oversaturated market of influencers and content creators, and the flood of AI-generated content that threatens to dilute human labor. On top of that, I'm very introverted and the dependency on a regular 9-5 job makes it difficult for me to move into self-employment, as it makes me very reinnovated and therefore I can rarely find / keep the FOCUS...) I would be very interested in your advice on how someone in my situation should deal with all of this and find the courage to start something of their own and take the risk of giving up their secure job to do so... Best regards from Germany

    • @thelifewithnate
      @thelifewithnate 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Well done for realizing that you want to move into self-employment potentially though! That's the first step that not a lot of people even take to begin with. I would recommend simply starting out with one platform and a problem you want to solve, document the process over time, build an audience, build a product, and then start marketing it. You don't have to quit your 9-5 job if you do you want to once you start making enough from your self-employed job that you want to do, you can always do both! Cheers!

It's not just the INFORMATION AGE...
    It is the PERCEPTION AGE...
It is the PERCEPTION (of a SENTIENT SINGULARITY) which formulates, OBSERVES and either choose to validate it with their conscience awareness (or not) which gives that information VALUE...
The VALUE of information is on a scale
Which is relative directly to the perception
    Of a SENTIENT SINGULARITY, only.
    Information is VALUELESS...
    Unless empowered by the
    CONSCIENCE AWARENESS
    Of a SENTIENT SINGULARITY.
    VALUE ONLY COMES FROM
    THE SENTIENT SINGULARITY
    OBSERVING THE INFORMATION.
    ....OF WHICH WE ALL ARE....
    PERCEPTION DIRECTS THE CONSCIOUSNESS
    OF A SENTIENT SINGULARITY.
PERCEPTION is the jewel of consciousness
    Perception is consciousness in motion.
    That motion perpetuates the continuum
    Of THE LIFESTREAM.

Life is a one way ticket. The time along that we experience is subjective. Micronutrients are not the best way to state the multiverse effect. Life is a four letter word and experience. It ends thankfully and the Idiocracy will overtake the brain trust in the end. Why. The odds. Morons abound and reproduce..the system supports this. Thanks for the dissemination of some perspective knowledge though...gfy to all.

I think you are 99% right except for one thing, that Jesus is somewhat playing a status game. You can speak for other leaders but Jesus is not just a human being, He is God in flesh. The leaders of the world can speak to the minds of people and help them live the best life possible but that is only applicable to this life on earth. Jesus speaks to the heart and spirit of people to help them not only live their best earth life but also live after death because Jesus is outside time.

I see that as a status is not what we have but how others perceive us.
I may be loving and in hospital or in family its as good but to be loving in prison i guess will become a toy. Status can be given or stolen in a second, than fuck status.

You're not even 30, so you haven't really experienced life yet, although you think you have.
Many of us are anti-status and anti-hierarchy, but you just don't see us. We choose not to play the game and there are only a few of us who (not "that") make our beliefs known to others.
No need for socialization and no need for friends = no need to seek status.
Another word for this is "liberation."

I enjoy the majority of your videos. This one is, for me, not something I enjoyed because of the ideas on status, though perhaps i fall into that category at the beginning. But I enjoyed what you said about value. However, the best way to create value is by knowing your narrative, for business it's your brand narrative. This is how you communicate your value. And through this you aren't competing over price, but communicating your value. And when you communicate that clearly, you aren't fighting for status, but showing value through relatability. Perhaps status comes from that, and judgment precedes the narrative, but that communication is far more connected to value than status is. Or rather, if you don't communicate your value, then others will use your status to assume it.
