I bought a 93 with 65k on it from a dealership I worked at. Drove it from Denver to Florida put 110k on it over the years, really no big issues, fuel pump, battery, brakes, rear shocks, crankshaft sensor ,plugs ,ran good sold it and never heard from the kid who bought it. There not bad trucks..ac always worked good in the Florida heat ..

I have a World Class T5 that belongs to a 1993 GM 2.8 V6 truck. Manual gives me the option of using Dexron iii or Synchromesh. How do I determine which one my WC T5 takes? It was my belief that NWC takes gear oil and WC the ATF(Dex iii). Is the synchromesh fluid interchangeable to either NWC or WC? And I also heard that modern gear oil can eat up the bronze synchros so that’s why Synchromesh fluid is preferred to gear oil but not sure if it can also be used on a WC T5. My T5 took a dump & I found a WC Donor that’s bone dry and wanted to fill it up but don’t know what fluid to fill it up with, any info helps thanks!

You stole that truck. A couple sandbags in the bed, it'll go anywhere anytime. I have an 87 that my Grandpa bought brand new. Same engine

How’s the T5 holding up? Supposedly 1993 what the year they introduced the WC(World Class) T5. That type of transmission had carbon lined synchro as opposed to the all brass synchro like the previous ones. They also 3.4 swapped these because of the better transmissions. Only electrical package was on the 4.3’s and they also had the digital dash. I’m on the hunt for the same Tranny because mine has mad play. I had to do clutch because throw out bearing was out and it’s when I went through everything.

The T5 in this shifts better sometimes than my racecar does. It's a really good combo

And yes the S10 Tahoe is the more expensive trim I have had a few years of square body s10 trucks one was a 88 regular cab short bed 2wd 60 degree 2.8 litre 173 cubic inch V6 th700r4 red and black in the center of the truck sharp looking truck factory sunroof and am fm stereo auto reverse cassette tape player Delco gm radio was also factory so was the pwr window and ac options, other truck I had was a pieced back together 89 Chevy S10 regular cab short bed 2.5 4cyl tbi 5spd manual shift transmission with the metal reverse gear and 2.73 rear gear gm10 bolt no ac,pwr window or locks, power steering or brakes, and the El specific steering wheel and I had 235/75/15 1996 Chevy S10 five star aluminum wheels looks similar to the factory third Gen z28 and rs Camaro aluminum five star wheels.. anyway turning it at lower speeds was a pain with the Factory el trim steering wheel so I put the 79 chevy k10 scottsdale custom steering wheel option on the S10 most people hated that lol
