Another great video! The actress in the Vicks 44 commercial is Hillary B. Smith, aka Nora from the soap One Life To Live. Love the oatmeal crisp commercial.
The good thing about the 90's, is that a whole heap of stuff rolled over from the 80's so I sorta experienced the 80's in a different way. They had 80's movies, TV shows, video games and even some commercials.
0:35--I remember back then Kellogg's was promoting Frosted Flakes as a cereal that appeals to adults as well as kids. 1:51--Wheat Thins are alive and well, but whatever happened to Oat Thins? Haven't seen those in ages. 7:22--I don't seem to remember this show "Davis Rules" with Jonathan Winters. It must have been short-lived. 9:17--Great jingle for Raisinets. 10:59--"Original score by Jay Ferguson"--as in, the guy who sang the 70's hit "Thunder Island"? I didn't realize he has done so much work in TV and movies. I looked him up on Wikipedia and saw that he wrote the theme music for the NBC version of "The Office."
So funny to see the American Music Awards being promoted with country acts when 1991 was the year that New Kids on the Block performed and BBD and Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey Madonna was so hot at that time....I was TOO excited for that broadcast...
We hit the ground running with great vocabulary artifacts of the 90s in that McDonalds ad! Tagteam was a pilot but never made it to a full series. Jesse Ventura and Roddy Piper fighting crime, what could go wrong? I always thought those Norwegian Cruise Line ads were silly until I saw Larry on AMERICAN GLADATORS! Remember 30 minute deliveries? Seeing that TAGTEAM would fail, ABC tries for the Quaid/Winters tagteam next. Was it only 20 years ago we'd get full closing credits?
You've done it once again! Not only do your uploads take me back to a time before I had to worry and stress about work, kids and moartgage, you upload breaks from my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Now I really feel like a kid again. (Is my homeword finished??? Just kidding!)
I've had the McDonald's "steak" & egg bagel, it's so greasy it runs down your arms Randy Quaid had a sitcom? Aah, the good ol' days "Dominoe's Pizza"- endangering the lives of delivery drivers for 30 years! those Halls commercials used to give me nightmares. freaky
"Tagteam" End Credits (I feel like including this short clip relieves me of having to describe how ridiculous this show is) your confused my friend you meant to say how Awesome it is

I'm so glad someone else noticed this! I grew up on abc soaps thanks to my momma
I think the 90's was the only decade where you could get by with saying Word Up.
None the less, Great Commericals!

That McDonald's commercial is so 90s it hurts.
There's something strangely dark about that Oatmeal Crisp commercial, the laugh you hear at the last scene seals it.

The United States at this time in history can learn a great deal from that Formula 44 commercial.

xD though the oatmeal crisp commecial was funny.. I was hoping it would be the ''a full bowl is half a bowl full too full a bowl full.'' Commercial.

Holy crow, that's the Kriss Kross Make My Video guy (the one on the left) on the first commercial, ain't it?. :O
The guy in the Oatmeal Crisp commercial has a mega Kevin Spacey vibe about him. It isn't him, obviously, but it made me look twice nonetheless.
ikr WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too 90s

LARRY ZONKA! It's a shame he was killed by Satorus' cult.
He's still alive.
