do you still use the mew for Qtum or can you use the Qtum wallet by itself when transffering to the ledger
I can put all the tokens in one those addresses that are showing or it has to be separate for every token? what about if i choose the first one that i have ETH?
Hi, thanks for the video! If you have a ledger nano s, do you need to create a MEW account? I don't want to do this because creating a MEW account shows private key on screen. I haven't had to ever create an account for Eth and ETC as I've always used the ledger but unsure on using EOS in ledger.

is MEW pubic key id the deposit address for all coin from exchange ?

I have been having an issue with my ERC20 tokens as I cannot send them to any other accounts. Would creating more different ETHEREUM accounts on Ledger and adding the ERC20 tokens under those ETH accounts be the cause of the issue of not being able to send my ERC20 tokens to an exchange?
For example, instead of adding all my ERC20 tokens under one ETH account. I added another ETH account like (ETHEREUM 2 and ETHEREUM 3) and sent my Chainlink to ETHEREUM 2 and BAT to ETHEREUM 3 account on Ledger Live. I think this created an issue for me now, because when I want to send my Chainlink I get an error message saying that I have insufficient ETH in parent account even though I have over 125 Euro worth ETH in the parent account.
Is there a way to bring solution to this issue?

I just got a Nano Ledger S, but I've been using MyEtherWallet for some time now. Is there a way for me to keep the same MyEtherWallet address and link the Nano Ledger S to that one? Everytime I link my Nano Ledger S it creates a new address.

Hi, I want to move my Eth from Etoro wallet to my Ledger nano s but there is a warning saying I have to make sure the receiving address is supporting smart contracts. On the other hand I've seen the ledger live app it doesn't support smart contracts. So I don't know how should I do.. Someone was saying that you have to enable smart contracts from the Ethereum app on my Ledger but he wasn't so sure. I made a lot of research but I didn't find a clear answer. I was thinking you may know something regarding this..

I just read that Firefox add-on now supports almost the same API of chrome extension. I think you may need to look into it a little better though as that was a quick search as I dont use firefox.
hi Lou...i am a noob and trying to learn as much as i can..loving yr site..gteat for people like me..going to like and subscribe. picking up my ledger nano today and am verified on an exchange so should be ready to go soon. one thing i am trying to wrap my head around..i go to my exchange, buy say some ether it will then go into the exchange wallet...can i then send it direct to my ledger nano s? or do i have to send to MEW or whatever alt coin i buy wallet and then to nano s? sorry about the ramble. as i understand the nano s is just cold storage of my private key. thanks in advance cheers👍david

I didn't find in any video on youtube how you actually put your private key in you Ledger. Anyone know?
I know its very confusing, but your Ledger Nano S is your private key and no need to put one in it, as it acts as your private key. I hope that this makes sense! Please let me know if you have any further queries and I'll be happy to help!

What happens to the original private key for someone who's created a MEW account if using ledger? You know the key they show on screen when the MEW account is created. Or is there a way to use MEW through ledger without having to create a MEW account. And is this the same with ERC20 tokens (that there is no need to create a MEW account if using ledger)?

Ex: I have crypto currencies on my Ledger Nano S. I convince my father to invest in crypto, he creates a trading account on Binance, CoinbasePro, Etoro ... to buy and trade some crypto. We use my Ledger Nano S to secure its crypto on the blockchain.

All fine except I get no option called Browser Support. (Edit: I've learned that it's now automatic). Trying to switch ERC20 to Kin is a nightmare. See tons of tutorials all with slightly different steps. I used my Nano after quite some time, and had to reset my password (oddly to my original password, but all those recovery word phrases!). Now the list of 5 addresses on MEW has changed. My original address doesn't even show, but when I enter it into the etherscan page link, it shows my past transactions, but MEW tells me I've got a different address. When I click info on THAT address, it shows no transactions at all. Somebody......please help.

Still dont own Vertcoin? Oh No. Vertbase/Vertpig is very new. Something to change Vetcoin in USD, LTC, EUR... directly.

I have both the Ledger and Trezor, I like them both. But I prefer the Ledger Live manager interface, it’s nice and easy to use.

When you first set up your Ledger Nano you will create a seed, if you lose this seed and the device you lose your crypto
