I really enjoyed this video.... although I'll confess I need to watch it a few more times and embed it into my brain :) Cheers.
Great video. I think I'm still uncertain about the process of transferring my crypto to the Nano and the process of managing it from there. For example, I own Ethereum on my Coinbase account. So, I can probably figure out how to transfer the keys from there to the Nano, but if I sell, do I have to transfer back to Coinbase first? If I buy more, does on Coinbase, do I just transfer that to my Nano? Just a little unsure how to manage my crypto when I buy and sell through Coinbase. Do you have a video about that? Thanks....watch a lot of your videos and learned a ton from you.
If you do not want to move to a centralised exchange each time you swap your coins, most of the times you can use decentralised platforms as uniswap or 1inch directly from your ledger (there are dedicated application in ledger devices). But to convert in fiat basically you have to pass to your coinbase, binance, ... (or use peer to peer, or atms, but this ways is not convenient for large amount I guess)
Been waiting for this video for a long time, have watched many vids on this but been waiting for you to do one as you’re always clear and easy to follow, thanks Guy.
I unfortunately bought this after regrettably buying the Trezor. They all are just an extra step inorder to move code around on a chain so you loose all your gains paying gas fees. Will any of these devices still allow me to access my tokens after the companies are banned or bought out?
If ledger live/apps are open source but firmware/hdw is closed... hypothetically could mean potential for backdoor or kill switch, correct? Highly unlikely since nothing happened when market cap passed 3 trillion but just curious your thoughts on this. Also, assume no insurance outside of vault in the off chance your assets get compromised.

If you are required to generate a new seed code list of word (and all packaging and the tamper label are all perfect) then you can have very high confidence that it is safe. I suggest only saving the copies of seed phrases on several password encrypted USB keys and saving them in diffwrent physical locations. I.e. give one to a parent for safekeeping. You can include your USB encryption password in your Will supplimentary documentation - or similar. So that way only someone with access to your USB *and* USB decryption password can get to your seed phrase/s.

I already bought this ledger nano x but never used it and will never. The high extortionist fees are just ridiculous. Wanted to receive/send a small amount of bitcoin just for testing, and it charges me £14 for a transfer of £50 in bitcoin!! You have the option of "fast, medium, slow" speed for transactions, but the difference is so tiny (fractions) it's not worth it. If you tell me these are network fees, erm .. i'd say no. coz other exchanges charge mush less. And if these fees on other exchanges and wallets are so high, then bitcoin and crypto ecosystem is doomed. Barclays never charges me for transferring money (except a fixed amount for international transactions no matter how big or small) . Paypal never charges either. So am out.
Most exchanges batch transactions together and send it off to the chain as one transaction sending it to hundreds of people at the same time to get a cheaper price, and Bitcoin has the lightning network for cheap every day transactions.

Surely someone seeing your seed phrase means you can lose all your crypto whereas someone accessing your ledger is not so bad since they still need your PIN
If they try your PIN and get it wrong, the Ledger will wipe itself and then you need your seed-phrase to reconstruct your wallet again If they have your seed-phrase, then yes, they can rebuild your wallet on any device and effectively have access to your crypto!
Ledger don’t give you one private key. It generates one seed phrase. The seed phrase is used as the seed to generate private keys for each of the crypto
