Thank you so much for making this video breaking down exactly how to get the Mikro MK3 to work with FL. I was frustrated with not being able to use the Mikro MK3 midi in conjunction with FL & I had nothing but trouble each time I tried to use the two together. I'm now ready to dive in and be creative now that I have the tools and the proper directions to make my favorite hardware and DAW work together. Thank you!
just so everyone knows, google fl studio fidelity map for maschine mikro and then once you have it everything works on the mikro with fl studio basically perfectly.

why not mapping FL directly with Maschine as a midi controler ? Except for the pad color, I don't see a real improvment in the workflow here

That's what I'm here for. I used my maschine mk1 as a simple midi controller but can't seem to figure out how to do that with my new maschine mikro mk3.

I got my Mikro 3 yesterday thinking it would be plug and play..Only after some exploring did I realise I needed to dive into remapping territory for MIDI outputs..This is really helpful once i figured out I needed to get into pad customisation to even practice on Melodics. Thanks for the tutorial man

Why can’t I record? I hit shift + record but no metronome or movement in the arranger/ piano roll/ sequencer etc
I know i'm maybe different, but i truly understand this.. After 2 Days trying it, until i checked now that "mk3" controls "fl studio", not" fl studio" controls "mk3 software". This Tutorial gives me access to a lot of possibilitys i wouldn't have without. Now i would like to understand why some external plugins work in that way (like vanguard), and some doesn't (like T-Force alpha), and how i can make them work too. Anyway thanks for the great help.

You should just open Maschine Studio DAW and just drag the Midi or Wav file to FL Studio.
Then yoy cant use fl vsts in real time

Where do I find the machine plugin?
I always hated using native products with FL studio because of compatibility. i ended up getting rid of all of my native products, maschine just slowed me down:(
yeah i really think i goning to return my mk3. so shitty on fl...
I use maschine and fl studio. They are just not meant for each other but I will say learning how to use maschine has made my music really come alive in a way that it did not with FL Studio but I still love FL and won't abandon it because I can just dump stems into fl for arrangement if I want a more focused arrangement!

the quality of them is really good, it's a shame they fucking suck at actually making it easy to use their products in different daws

Hey Master, is it possible to start and stop in FL Studio, with the buttons on the MK3 instead of click start /stop in FL Studio
I am trying to do that and no matter how I set it up in the midi settings nothing works with the controls to start stop record and so on from the hardware.

Put it in MIDI mode - I think you hold shift then the button with the Maschine logo top left.
@@Adsrsounds thanks for the quick reply. I did that and still nothing. It says midi mode on the mk3 when I do that butt It won't show up in the midi settings inside of FL like all of my other midi controllers. Maybe this one can't do that?

And so I have tons of technical questions. as I'm sure everyone has, probably all the time no matter how good you they are at this. Anyway my questions begin with this one. I recently bought a used NI Maschine Mikro 2 super cheap, $5. However I am slowly starting to realize that without the Maschine software the controller is pretty useless. Is this true? or can I still use it for other applications?

For some reason Image Line won't give us the needed midi functionality for using things like Machine in FL in a way which makes sense. All other DAWS I have used have seamless (get it!), midi in & out functionality with Maschine. Countless forum posts on Looptalk about this. Love you IL but ffs sort it out!
It's not Image Line, it's Native Instruments which have to provide FL Studio support.
Using machine with FL studio is pretty frustrating honestly. The method described in this video is one of the best ways to integrate, and it's still terrible. Completely disrupts workflow. I found a way that works for me but it's just tolerable, it's really not exceptional by any means.
What is your method?

How do I do this individually each individual track in maschine, I have a beat made with 12 tracks and I am trying to do this one by one but when I drag the pattern icon it drags the entire pattern onto one track in FL Studio

I still wonder whether I should buy the standard Maschine or the mikro version, I've not decided yet.
There's only one thing I don't really understand, it is the use of the channel filter. How comes you leave the "link" from the source to FL Studio in place in parallel to the "channel filter" one?
Wouldn't that be more "logical" to just route like this : the source => the channel filter => the output ?
Am I missing something there? (I've never used this routing technique using Patcher in FL Studio so far, so I've not yet tried and tested that).

GUYS!!! Try to map the maschine in fl studio with the midi channel 14, for example: cc44 and 45 are vertical and horizonal zoom. U can cut paste, SELECT A SAMPLE FROM THE BROWSER WITHOUT THE MOUSE! U need to set machine as ''maschine controller'' in midi in fl and map controls on midi channel 14! FOR EXAMPLE to select a file from the browser like in maschine daw u can use those controls: browser in note gr ch14, up and down e1 and f1, enter is g#4 ALL button to ''gate'' mode, all knobs to relative!
Sure beats my method of exporting patterns as audio clips from Maschine and importing in FL 😩
Create your patterns in Maschine software. Once you're ready to sequence and mix, open Maschine VST inside of FL Studio and then use the drag and drop Wav function on every pattern from Maschine into FL playlist. I haven't figured out how to get a send/bus in Maschine to import properly this way, but you could always just recreate it in FL. Save the settings on your effects VSTs as your song name to make things easier. A cool side effect of this is that you end up with a ton of custom presets for your VSTs!

add the maschine.dll folder into the list of your plugin (option>Manage Plugin)
and how to route the drums from the fpc to different track in FL?
if you refer to the mixer in the upper right part of the FPC files you will find "outputs" there you select which line you want each pad to come out of.. sorry for the english i use google translate

If you use fl studio, get the akai. The workflow and integration with NI products and FL is just awful.
I got stressed with this :) ... I would forget what I was going to do after routing each track :)

so once again native instruments didnt listen to the fl community ... you still cant use the play stop transpose buttons or maschine at its full potential with FL.... waste of money and time for fl users..

No, just as long as there's something that usually makes noise linked up in Patcher

i think for the purposes of making a beat it'd be pretty useless. if you want to add fx to your individual drums later in the mixer youd end up adding the fx's to the patcher ;/ and not the drums

Thanks for making this video. I'll make sure not to do this combo. FL sucks so fucking much, the workflow is just atrocious in so many ways, especially when trying to use any hardware like this. I think I'll move back to Ableton eventually, I think there's people with actual brains working on their stuff over there.
