Such a shame with this phone and it's unusable mobile data. Have it sitting collecting dust at home. Good you got yours finally, just a big disaster in the end unfortunately
Pro1-X is actually kind of a downgrade from Pro1. It has newer SOC but a lower tier. 835 was a flagship while 662 is low to mid-range. It was also a big factor for the delay since they have to redesign for the new SOC and it's not exactly easy and simple. Them being involved in Click was definitely weird but given their current status, I think they did it to get money to actually fullfill their Pro1-X campaign. We're kinda lucky they didn't actually go bankrupt 😄 The keyboard is backlit. It's just not yet working in Ubuntu Touch without a hack Personally, I like Pro1's design more because it can be used like a normal phone. Planet Computer's devices are mostly for phones working like a small laptop which I don't exactly want or need. I like to be able to thumb type and not out down the phone to type 😄
@@aznsensation44 It was originally supposed to be mostly the same as the Pro1 with slightly different keyboard layout, blue color and more RAM and storage. That's it. But they had a problem with SD835 being obsolete so they had to change it. If they told the truth, it was their supplier's fault. BTW, that Anilist app is definitely not pre-installed. Maybe you installed it and forgot or accidentally did it 😄
@@AninoNiKugididn’t their supplier double dip and ended up selling there chips to someone else even though they paid them first? If that happened, I’m hoping they sued them

can you share a guide how to install ubuntu touch? mine is with android 11 and unlocked bootloader. Can't find a detailed guide, all are outdated
What's the outdated part? For me the only issue was the one mentioned in the video where it got stuck with ubports

Makes u wonder what's the point of a Pro1X then if it's not even necessarily better and the design is the exact same
