Thank you for letting us tag along on your scenic adventure! We’ve only been to Moab once, but realized we need to return and see more of the surrounding area. We’re not off road enthusiasts, but certainly see the appeal having driven the Schafer Trail/Potash Road from Canyonlands down to Moab. Your video had so much really good footage, that we want to look at doing the other trails on this video.
Thanks for another great video! We made it to OTR this year and had a very enjoyable time. After the wife retires, we'll be able to get out there also. Thanks to both of you for Top Notch content.
That is some beautiful scenery! The drone footage makes it even better! I know ya’ll put in a lot of time and effort to produce these videos. I appreciate it a bunch!
Nice! That Schaffer Loop is my favorite. We did the same drive the opposite way when we were out there in April with the kids. Also did the same route with my Dad back in 1996 and it was still just as beautiful this last time around. Back way in to Canyonlands NP then back down. And be advised when we exited CL NP mid afternoon the line to get in was a few miles long so better to enter through Schaffer. Lot's of folks in Moab seem to concentrate on the "challenge trails", which are fun; but there are also lots of easy scenic trails like these that should not be missed. There is also a "secret" backway into Arches NP with some dino tracks along the way. Onion Creek was our second favorite. It was a little more challenging in the Spring with some snow and mud up there in the high altitudes. And glad to see you pointed out the dino tracks there at the point where you come back on pavement. Something not to be missed.
Heading down to Moab this week - trying to sneak in the same 3 trails (and Fins & Things for some slick rock). Best part, I’ll have a new to me Mission Summit waiting for me on my return back to Canada, eh. Ask me if I’m excited 😅?! Your adventures solidified my trailer choice.
@cdnjeep wishing you a great time on your trip. Just so you know, we did have some issues with the Summit on this trip. It was sent back to Mission for repairs and we have not heard anything further. Reach out to us by email contact@coddiwomple-overland.com if you have any questions
I have done onion creek both ways 3 times and honestly... your angles of drone shots made it look completely different to what it looks like. I was flying my skydio 2 drone and my fpv drone when there (main drone broke around lockheart basin from needles side. And my shots made it look so huge.. and your angles down low by the water made it look like you did not have huge cliffs to either side. Very creative and different because all the videos show massive red rocks and massive tan piles of the 2nd half of onion creek. Very beautiful area. Was that rose garden hill trail at the end or did you go to beaver/polar mesa route? I always assumed that rose garden was pretty darn hard and rock climby sort of trail.

Great video. You guys got in a lot of trail miles around Moab. Love it.
We did, thanks!
I've done those trails.
But I certainly didn't make a work of art video like you folks did!
Except shots and angles!
Thank you!
Gorgeous scenery!
The handles on those rear stabilizer jacks sure do hang down quite a bit...
Yes they do.
Thanks for the ride along, someday I just got to go there.
Thanks for coming along
We were there with a trailer on LCR in June. Amazing vistas
Yes

How long does it take you all to get out there? OHIO here…
We normally do it in a couple of long days
