I’ve been tattooing for 18 years and I have never before today thought of checking TH-cam for real deal info on gear. You guys are great. Thanks so much for creating this useful content.
Its the best Liner and His new 7.5 sidewinder and 76er packs color and shades just like a coil machine Love Dan Kubins , pen style machines don’t even have a chance next to DK’s .
Jake keep it up man. You are really dropping these gems. It shows when even three , 4,5 yrs after you drop vids like these and I'm learning more on your vids than I did working as a apprentice. Appreciate you so much.
Wow, this was insanely helpful. I feel like I learned more from watching your guy's video on the Dan Cuban SideWinder than I did from watching Dan Cuban's video of the Sidewinder. I am a newer artist, but I had a lot of older more experienced artists recommending this machine to me. However, I felt that with my lack of experience I was confused on how to to tune the machine to my specific needs. This broke it down a bit slower and made it an open conversation. THANKYOU
Used the swingliner for at least 6 month. Its like the predecessor of the dmc according to dan kubin. It ran pretty sweet with cartridges and the dmc is supposed to be more snappy and be an upgrade to the swingliner. If that turn out to be true the dmc will be a fantastic machine for cartridge lining. I switched to regular needles and sidewinder simply because i love some adjustability and like the feel of regular needles better. If you want to stick to cartridges get the dmc. Dan makes fantastic machines. I know many people who use them and not a single person whos dissapointed.
@@aceadam1828 awesome. I'm going to have to get one. I see so many people loving them I would be stupid not to give them a shot lol thanks for the reply

I don’t use rubber grommets on mine. I use paper towels and get no spit. A soft rubber grommet with get beaten to death and you get a situation where your needle is flopping up and down…causing them to spit ink. And absolutely flip your larger needle groupings. A 14 should be flipped period
Thanks for this! I would just disagree in terms of pain: I think the DK hurts more in comparison to a traditional coil liner. I got tattooed by the same artist with DK and another machine and this is my experience.
