I just installed mine today. Instead of lighting the backseat area( I drive a Carmaro which really has no room for passengers) I used the four light strips up front. Under the dash and under the seats. I'm not mechanically inclined, so I doubted my ability. I have to say, it could be better but it's good. Needless to say I'm rather proud of myself for the fact that I did it! It looks awesome! It's kind of rice, but it says my name. I wanna crank up Donna Summer's "I Feel Love" on the stereo, and reminisce that is back in 1977 again, 😆 LOL! Thanks for your encouragement. You gave me the confidence to to it alone.

I'm looking for how to splice, fuse and connect this to the headlights so when I turn on my headlights it should turn on as well. Any links please share.
Disconnect your negative battery terminal first and disconnect your headlight wiring and use a multimeter at 20V to find the cable that supplies power when you turn your headlights ON (level 1). Have an inline fuse cable (use atleast 5A) and Splice one end with the Red power cable of the interior LED and splice the other end with the cable supplying power from your headlight. The Black ground cable of the Interior LED, just ground it to any metal part of your car body. Of course if needed extended your cables where needed by adding additional lines of cable and soldering or just twisting and using electrical tape or shrink tubing. Headlights have their own relay as much as i am aware of. I have the same Interior lighting as in this video. What i actually did is i have a cup shaped dual car cigarette lighter extension (Links below). I opened the wire sheathing and cut the red wire somewhere in the middle and placed the red power cable on the OFF side of the toggle switch (Links Below) and additional cable on the on side of the toggle switch, the other end of this cable i connect it back to the red power cable going back to the cup shaped extension. The idea here is to turn off power supply to the cup shaped extension that's why the use of the toggle switch (the LED will be connected here) as for my car FORD the cigarette lighter doesn't power off (If LED was plugged power will be continuously running even if off and can drain battery). Now Just connect an additional cable to the ground side of the toggle switch and ground it to the body of the car. Then I plugged the cup shaped to my cigarette lighter port (it has a fuse inside) and this interior LED is plugged to the cup shaped. This way i have this RED LED Button lighting up near to my arm rest when i have the toggle switch on. To make everything stealth i have to remove the arm rest and hand brake console, Drilled some holes in the console and ran the wires of the interior LED inside the console. Will it run the battery down staying in the cig lighter even when the car isn’t on?
