🙏thx a lot Dario all these tips and tricks are so useful, we all are thankful to you sharing them with us, we just can't wait for the next vdo 😉👍
Welcome :) Now time to test the steering angle 🤣
I am looking for a diff and shock set up for a small carpet track with two small jumps
Great video, i hope you make a next one talking about the electronic parts needed RC transmiter, Batteries and charger...etc etc

Noted 👍
Thank you, this is excellent advice!
Hello Dario. Thanks for sharing.
Great info! 🍻
Hey Dario, you have great videos on your channel! I have problems with my xv-02. i bought it used and i think this car overstears very quick. I think the car breaks away too quickly at the exit of the curve. And then it turns 360 degrees. I have now bought 2 sets of the original tuning spring sets, the stabilizer set, different differential oil (but not too hard) and the shock absorber oil set (soft). My thought was to make the front of the vehicle harder and to lock the diff a little more. I've now read that the vehicle with the standard transmission ratio is too aggressive. You should probably set it longer. what are you thinking about that. My engine is the: absima 3400KV, servo: Absima ACS1612SG Lowprofil Combat Servo, Driving at the Futaba T3PRKA and 2s Lipo. Greetings from Germany
Actually i have installed the clutch
Hello! First of all some weeks ago I've published a video about the Tamiya XV-02 so take a look maybe you can find it useful :)

About your XV-02 I would suggest you to check if you have the same differential gears front/rear.
Then for sure switch the pinion gear to a 24T, this is good to make the driving more smooth, also I would suggest you to buy the suoersoft springs from Tamiya for the XV-02. In my opinion the stocks ones are too stiff.
Hope this can help you

What oil settings would you choose for the differentials with a center diff?
Currently I'm testing front 3000 central 8000 rear 1000 (Slippery conditions)
Ok, some differences to my "allround" setting of 5000-7000-3000 for a loose over hardpack track. Maybe I'll try your setup - thanks for your input. 👍
Sehr gutes Video. Sehr interessant! Gern mehr da von. Danke!!
Very ❤cool
Great video thank you. Do you recommend rear lock differential and a front open differential for rally? Or some other set up?
Welcome!
Start with 10.000 front and 5000 rear and then after some time, experiment different gradations, but always thicker on the front 👍
I run with blocked front diff - SNRC DT2 chassis
This video is very helpful. The steering angle is not as extreme as drifting, but it's close. I was a little surprised by the weight of the diff oil. My question is what are the motor restrictions or requirements for the rallies and what motor do you run? I recently purchased and XV-01 and this will be good when I start working on it. Do you run the stock shocks or the long shocks for the XV-01? Thank you.
Hi!
Here the motor has to be a 540.
I use a 17.5T sensored, guys that uses heavy model uses 13.5T
I use 2 kind of shocks. Long for off-road, short onroad
@@dariorcgarage When you use the long shocks, do you also have to use different shock towers?
@@michaeldorich4485yes, you need higher towers
How to bigger steering?
It depends by the Chassis that you have, but in general you have to remove the plastic that could limit che steering angle. I'll show a video of that in future 👍
Bel video Dario grazie per le info
How much does your chassis weight with battery?
Around 1500g
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS.!! 👍 👍 👍 👍

There is room for improvement 👍🙂
