As it's brushless had the motor not rotated in the correct direction all you would need to do is swap any of the two motor wires over.
Luckily it was already ok.

I was thinking of getting an HPI Subaru but this could be an interesting alternative. Adding all the electrics probably makes the price similar.
Hpi rally is probably the best running RC I've ever owned and most people agree when they buy one but never underestimate LC racing and they have better part support!
The HPI WR8 is a beast…I would certainly get one of them first 👌
I’ve still got two old HPI Subarus, which are both belt drive, so it looks like another HPI might be added to the collection. Interesting point about the parts support.

Those jumps at the end must be about the smoothest, cleanest rc jumps I've ever seen. So composed and silky smooth. Awesome build. 🙂

Hi. This is nice car. I have 3 HPI WR8s and this one could join the team. How about spare parts/tunning for this LC chassis. Available? Never had this brand in my garage. I would buy it just because of the classic rally body.

Will the composite shock tower fit the EMB-MT? Are LC racing parts compatible with WL Toys? I want a small scale jumper that’s balanced in the air. Many budget bashers nose dive. The EMB-MT and WL Toys 144002 look balanced. But I think the metal shock towers are going to get bent. I’m hoping these composite towers might be a more durable option.

So, think you'll do a side-by-side with the HPI? I would imagine this is going to be the only Rally that can touch or beat the Hpi and it should have better part support.

@@paddlesworthrcpark8215 They are awesome but at the same time so many people also say that the LC Truggy is the best RC they ever ran so you can't go wrong with HPI or LC but LC you don't have to worry about parts and that's a huge Plus!

What gearing do you use? I have a hobbywing 5400kv motor on my traxxas rally 1:10 scale and looking for a good gearing.

It looks the Mutts nuts but I just found out Hpi now do a WR8 SUBARU so gotta save me pennies for that I had to sell my Ken Block wr8 and had sellers remorse ever since
I've got the LC Racing SCT and I absolutely love it although it's just a 1/14 scale it runs absolutely great on a 2s and really comes alive on a proper dirt track and on 3s it's just a tire ripper. Its size is also handy as I can just put it inside my scooter luggage box or inside a small Backbag, its just so versatile, and this rally version is really tempting!..oh and on another note, they are built so damn well, rugged and parts aren't that expensive either.

Yes, a lot of people will say it’s too expensive, but when you look at the build quality and the parts, it’s actually not that bad at all. And you don’t need to put a an expensive castle system in 👌

Can you get this car with everything built in it or just as it is? I think it's quite expensive as it's just a rolling rc. Only say that as exc and motor and the rest eventually all in all cost about 400.
I`m gonna have to go back and watch this build from the beginning cause that also looks wicked fun =) =)

I just got mine, how much do you have to disassemble to get the motor installed ? Looks tough to get to the bottom motor mount hex. And did you have to add grease to the diffs and add oil to the shocks ? Thank you !
