Nice chunky pans buddy, good luck🍀🍀🍀 with ya new toy too 🙂, hopefully you get the hang of it quick. Definitely get yourself a evo nugget finder coil, 12" round or the 14x9 are awesome alrounder coils, the elliptical shapes are better suited for the thicker scrub as you can poke them into tighter spots.

Fascinating that was a fabulous video, scenery was stunning, such a variety but the prospecting was very entertaining, showing thats its not all beer n skittles, hard yakka down on your haunches for hours with sometimes little results, but the unknown of what you might discover is exciting, plus out in nature with good mates restores the
soul. Thankyou Levi your videos inspire this ol gal to fullfill her dream of getting a metal detector and correct equipment, working on my fitness and giving it a go, here in the old mining sites plus old river beds in the Adelaide hills and surrounding Creek beds.I need to study up I think of the areas where gold was prospected last century and go from there I take note when you mention brands of the tools ect you use and will follow suit.I suffered a Stroke 5 mnths ago just came out the blue and am very very lucky I came out unscathed .I now realise I need to work on my fitness and loose weight if I want to fullfill a dream of following from when my Father dabbled in prospecting with his metal detector back in the 70s Chery Robby Adelaide SA

That place looks really interesting, but I forge my own picks, shovels and even made pan with ridges! The latter took all my experience, and it wasn't an easy task. I even made a pan for my daughter as she has smaller hands, and a nice hickory handle for her pick. We thoroughly enjoyed your expedition, and it was specially lovely seeing all your family with you. All the very best from Wendi and young Moll.

I suggest using one of those tiny spoons, used to remove wax from the ear. That does not sound gross, now does it? BUT, if I were to inform you that those spoons are used to remove unwanted flotsam and jetsam from your nose. Possibly that crayon that crayon you stuck up your nose in kinder garden.
