Wow. It is funny to watch a frenchman speaking french, and the ancient samurai responds in english. Just makes him seem like a random cosplayer.

I've played Oni 1 and 2 when I was in elementary school, it's nice to see some light-hearted scenes 26:00.
It's a nice evolution. Things are grim and scary in Oni 1 and 2, because the threat was new - but now it's a horror-action back Oni 3 because now we are familiar with the horror and can counter it.

Onimusha 2 is finished, was only able to upscale 3D based textures, so the backgrounds haven't been touched.
Pre-release is up in my Discord, until i've made the release video and webpage for it ^^
This one was my favorite of the three and the only one I can beat.

bro she was so cringe the whole time.
nobunaga was consumed by evil and he did not focus on breathing. gotta compartmentalize and prioritize the most important things first. for me its doing nothing completely so that the holy form can control me. anyways, the soul of nobunaga did not go in the oni guantlet because of the ending. the script written said he was lost in the raging inferno. so idk. i guess so. for as long as nobunaga holds on to evil he will be trapped in the oni guantlet if that is possible for a soul to be tied to corruption or that mist that needs to be purified. fun game and series.
anyone else so disapointed by the Onimusha netflix series that they came to watch this which is infinitely better?

Anyone think it’s a reboot? Or secretly Onimusha 5? (If you consider DoD to be 4, idk some of this fanbase is rabid about that not being canon.)

Felt like a sequel/soft reboot. I’m hoping for a season 2.
Soft reboot i guess, they kinda tone down the 'Edgy' design.
Should they ever make another sequel I'll assume it'll more grounded, like nordic saga GOW.
