Definetely walktrough videos! 2 suggestions: 1. If and how do you process your beats (stems) after you exported them ! 2. And it would be interesting how do you Organise all your sounds (sound management internal+external )! Thanx alot
Excellent video! This came to me in the right time: sometimes I need a melody to fit my beats and ideas but I end up browsing into my melody banks (if you know what I mean). I’ve seen a great setup for finger drumming from another channel that combines already made loops (melodies and bass) for a Nu Disco vibe. So, with a chord progression like this and applying these effects it makes the workflow so much easier, intuitive, minimalistic and powerful. Thank you so much, this is by far one of your best videos alongside the other one regarding mixing and mastering on the MPC One. Cheers!
Hey man, So I made a nice melody that I want to look but the melody is only at 3.5 bars. And the bars is set at 4. If I bring the bar to 3, then I will lose some of my melody and if I keep it at 4 bars then there will be some space in between my melodies. Is there a way to trim down a bar so its even smaller so I can just the melody?
Got my mpc one plus since last saturday and im new to it ( got a mpk mini 2 months ago ) Saw some of your videos and you mentioned you have a 1,5 hr video how to mix in standalone so i subscribbed cuz im pretty sure you have more videos to learn from , thanks from the netherlands
@@Marrcello that filter gate really "changed" my life. I'm going to keep trying to nail the mixing on the MPC because I don't think I enjoy doing it on Ableton. Also,my laptop sometimes doesn't help.
I had an MPC One and watched your videos all the time. Returned it for an Ableton Push 2, now I'm considering getting it again for my travel beat maker. This video convinced me I can do plenty of the glitch type stuff I've been doing lately. The question is, when you export something like this, does it keep the effect automations as part of the stems?
Can you explain the things you do for complete noobs like me. You were doing something with automation with a effect , but i have no idea what that is what you were doing. You turned it on and pressed play and then you were moving around with 1 of the meters. Is it like he remembers what you did with qlink , like enable ? Can you use automation with tapestop ? In the software i used pencil and enable effect , but if this is what i think it is , its much easier. And i assume with new project its back to default ?
Finally! Really the only thing that bugged me in your videos. That screen protector tab bugged me constantly #ocd 😂 More seriously, I really like those videos of yours this week where you dive a bit deeper into how to use the device to its full potential. Thanks!
Hey Marrcello ! Love your videos. Very well explained and very very useful ! Have you had any big problems with the 2.10 Firmware , and if yes maybe you can tell which one ? i’m a little afraid to upgrade ! Thanx a lot :)
Thank you! Glad to hear that, I appreciate it:) Not really. I think the hype synth can be cpu heavy (my mpc froze after I automated a lot of different things inside the hype, so that was just too exhausting for the mpc ^^) but that doesn't matter, because you can just not use it or automate it, other than that, i've never experienced anything annoying..and the new instruments like the Mellotron is really dope..I also like the drum fx and some new fx like the granulator.. all in all I would definitely update it again..:)
Because I wanted to get away from the touchscreen as often as possible and I love dedicated buttons..the one has a lot of them compared to the live 1. I also noticed I almost never took the mpc out so I didn't use the battery option a lot.. bit, I prefer the pads from the live!!
Are you interested in long in depth walkthrough videos or shorter ones? Also what topics are you interested in?
You can keep exploring the effects and/or the "hidden" features of the MPC like those submenus and shit.
Warping samples with ease
My vote would go to more in-depth subjects with videos in the 15-20 minutes range. Personally, I'm really interested into sound design :) Thanks!

Hooray, the screen protector has finally gone 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😂😂 I’m glad you filmed removing it too, very satisfying. Great video as always - nice one 👍
😁Haha yes, it just had to be filmed.^^ thank you! I appreciate it✌✌
By taking the screen protector is it easier to navigate? I don’t think I’m going to take that off till it fall off itself.
Same same!
Haha no, I just had thought its time to take it off^^
