    Insta360 Go2 Horizontal and Vertical are now in the folder along with a new updated mount design for the original Insta360 Go.🍍
    🍍 Gcode files are created for Creality Ender 3 Pro 3D Printer @ 100% Flow Rate using TPU.
    All Gcode was generated at 100% Flow Rate. You can override the flow once you start printing on the “Tune” screen on your Ender3 if your roll of filament requires a higher or lower flow rate.
    🍍 If you do not have a 3D printer and would like to have these parts printed. Just download the STL files from the link and attach them to an email to Brain3D.co@gmail.com let them know the color you would like for each part. You can also visit their website www.brain3d.co/

    The THFS2 has a warm spot in my heart. Its nice to see someone putting out support for it. I wish a company would put out a similarly priced package with slightly better components, mainly the controller, the non replaceable antennas and proprietary motors. The THFS2 is how I got into the hobby even though I've moved on. There was a time I would have really been excited for the mods you have came up with. Those days are done and I'm not going back now that I know what I do, but this thing you're doing is really nice and will benefit many people I'm sure. Thank you for joining the hobby. We need more like you. :-) Have a great one!

    • @Pineapple22
      @Pineapple22  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Start with setting your print speed low 36mm/s is my base and can go slower on smaller parts. Do the initial layer at 15mm/s. You will need to have supports in most of the parts and I normally set my support Overhang Angle to 60 to start you can get away with 80 as a maximum. Set your Support Interface Density to at least 60 and I like Triangles as a pattern I have found they pull off cleaner. Temp for the SainSmart TPU I use is 210c and Bed Temp of 40c. I normally use 6.5mm for my Retraction Distance and 25mm/s for the speed. This should get you close. Let me know how it goes. 🍍

    Great video and good design with the XT30 battery holder.
    I am thinking of getting it and doing the same modification.
    Do you think it would be possible to replace the Insta 360 camera with a HD recorder such as the Caddx Turtle V2 or Rancam Split?
    Have you considered such a setup?

    • @Pineapple22
      @Pineapple22  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only problem with that type of cameras is the circuit board they have to be connected to. I don’t think there is enough room on board for that. The Insta360 Go is light and has stabilization built in. The TinyHawk FreeStyle is a great quad you will not be disappointed when you get yours. 🍍

    what's the all up weight now with all the TPU? do you feel the additional weight a lot?

    • @Pineapple22
      @Pineapple22  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The total Fly Weight for everything including the Insta360 Go is 117.74g. I fly with Tattu 450 mAh 95c-2S that weighs 27.49g (included in total) I am not sure what the 1S Batteries weigh.
      Without the camera I don’t notice any difference in how it flies; with the camera you know it is there and your flight times drop but handling with the same PID’s is good. The FreeStyle does make a good filming quad for such a small machine. I prefer it over a CineWhoop style when it is windy.
      I am modifying the mount to hold a Caddx ND Filter which should help the Insta360 Go cameras quality. I will do a video shortly about how it works out. 👍 Thanks for watching 🍍

    These look great! Does the TPU print OK without support? You're quite an accomplished 3D modeler! What software are you using?

    • @Pineapple22
      @Pineapple22  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      TPU needs supports like PLA or other materials. I use Cura Slicer Software which is free to use. The Battery Box need supports to hold up the roof when printing. My rule of thumb is if the angel is over 60° you will need a support. In most slicer software you can just drag the Gcode in that I have provided to see what type of supports you will need to make the parts. Thanks for watching 🍍

    Thanks for sharing STL files! I've printed all, but I can't install motor guards: how did you installed them? exiting 5mm crews are too short, and other 8mm screws are too long so they damage motoros. Thanks!

    • @Pineapple22

      It uses the stock Emax Standoffs. They are 15mm tall x 4mm hex. The print is a round hole and will stretch over the standoff. If you have trouble getting the standoffs in the holes you can put the standoff in a nut driver and press it through the print. You really should make that battery top have less material. Sorry to say, but sir, that thing is a hideous monstrosity.
    Also, I would trim weight off those frame pads. On a 5in drone, maybe you need that type of protection, but i feel like those pads just look big in comparison to the drone. All you really want to do is protect those frames, so something super small and thin would work just to keep the frame a little off the ground.
    The ideas are cool and always invent, but I think you should try to optimize on the weight more.
