Accord.... 😍A gas guzzler... But that car is a gem... The more you Rev it, the more it rewards you... Also you can modify this car tastefully, as modifications are sky level in this car... 😍😊But it's becoming softer and softer after every generation... 🙁

VW should reduce the maintenance by 20 percent in order to attract indian buyers, vw seriously need to bring more features in their cars, rivals are so up to date, moreover vw did a big mistake by discontinuing DSG and diesel

The corolla is not a failure in india...The d segment is already a low volume one and the corolla always did decent numbers and now with SUV craze and c segment sedans offering very good space a lot of people aren't burying one hence the next gen corolla is not coming to india...😥...The captur looks ate subjective but it is my favourite too....And finally the accord was a great car too but pricing close to bmw and mercs makes no sense at all....

Here land crusier prices are so high due to taxes, people buy car for mileage and zero maintenance so obviously carolla and polo are not in that segment.
Renault capture really capable car but some how failed in the market
I have the platine diesel n I must say it is execellent in all regards. Only drawback was the price n duster.
Pricing is more important . But Renault TRIBER is selling like hot cakes
I would love to see more of Toyota Yaris on road. It is such a great car. I compared and realised Honda city or even Hyundai Verna is ore expensive than Yaris.

Polo, Corolla and Prado sell in good number in Nepal tho. Land cruiser is expensive asf, so it doesnt sell much.

In abroad Honda Accord/Civic or Toyota Corolla were compact sedans priced as the average Joe's reliable A-B commute. Families bought them in droves. In India these cars surprisingly became D Segment sedans and kept tipping the scales even further with each year...even within Toyota or Honda there were better/cost effective options making these global best sellers an monstrosity from value perspective 😥
Land cruiser is overpriced in the USA also.It is $85,000+ .Sequoia is priced lesser than the Land cruiser in the USA.
Indians rely on the design more rather than the performance the reson behind this video

Suzuki CIAZ is more valuable than Toyota Yaris on the same price range .

The problem with the Polo is, it is outdated. It's high time VW launched the new Polo in India along with the Golf. Talking about the Accord, it was an absolute gem from Honda!!! And Land Cruiser is just🔥🔥🔥🔥

My personal favourite is Land Cruiser 4.5 V8 D-4D. The most Flagship and reliable SUV accross the Globe. That D-4D motor is so Reliable that it just outlasts its owner.

2) Ford F150 Raptor
3) Chevrolet Camaro
4) Volkswagen Arteon
Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus and 2 predominant cars which I'd love to see here on our roads!
Golf and Focus are damn good cars but they don't fall in the same category as a Mini or an entry level premium segment, so when launched in our country it is going to be around 30 - 40 lac range at this price point I would think twice should I go with a VW or Ford when I can get a SUV or a much better sedan like the Octavia (shares the same platform as the VW Golf for less money), Superb, Camry etc.

Bro Chevrolet struggled a lot and pulled out of India by mid 2017. Chevy studied Indian customers and the market for nearly 15 years and could hardly come out successful, so there is very less chance for other Chevy and Dodge or Chrysler models making it's way into our shores.
Toyota sold 15M corolla globally because these cars are most off texi. That's why toyota is a texi company.
Not really they are used as taxis only in aouth east asia and few in usa but people buy it for its reliability and anyone can surely say why it failed in india not only corolla but all d segment sedans

Fact is this that none of the Japanese, French and German Cars (except luxury cars) were sold well in India.
