We got it for 8.5L on road back then diesel top varient Good rear space Comfortable ride 20+ KMPL Light steering wheel Low maintanence Great boot space 2 Airbags It has done 1.3L km so far and no problems with engine No rattles Cons Hard Plastic interior (if you need luxury, you don’t get it here) though that plastic will last forever No advanced tech features likes ventilated seats and stuff One side of speaker stopped working after 1L km Lot of road noise in cabin after 110kph Not the best looking out there Its a good car for people who just need something for their daily commute without any worries and modern techs
I have seen Toyota etios running 4.5 lakh kilometers+ and still running like a tank. Looks wise its a good car (dual tone model). Its a highly reliable and decently looking hatchback for the price segment
Regarding the Urban Cruiser, tell them that in South Africa where Urban Cruiser outsold the Brezza, because of the Toyota badge, despite it having less warranty and a higher price.
Proud Etios owner Drove it more than 4.5L kms and without any major issues. Basic maintenance and it's good to last lakhs of kms. Also had a 4 star safety rating and yes felt solid compared to my current vehicles from Hyundai and suzuki.
But etios is now having a very high resale market value for its low maintenance, great mileage, ultra reliable engine that could even clock 8lakh+ kms, best in class massive boot space 592l, interior space etc
You should not judge a car by its looks , Toyota Etios is an incredible machine and it has better comfort than its rivals , I am using it till now and my Etios is 12 years old but still runs like brand new and the performance is amazing , specially the acceleration. Its a legendary machine ❤️
I have a etios liva 2012 model diesel car. Have logged 2.1Lakh km, still runs very smoothly. Very less maintenance cost. Very practical car with no querky and funky features

Remeber etios can't go on bad roads niether the omni can go on long trips and most importantly many people can sit in it with a whole ton of luggage. I would say if mahindra will bring up an major update for bolero than it still have a chance to capture the market under 12l. Mahindra can offer the marazzo engine or the xuv 300 engine with 300 geabox even I would say the turbo varient and give features like bolero neo with some aerodynamic changes so that uts stability increases. Otherwise it was a very good car back than infact bolero storm had 100 bhp in 2009 more powerfull than any vehicle in 10l at that time ovuously.
We had both Indica v2 as well as Omni, Indica for personal use and Omni for business. Both cars are great, just Indica made us bankrupt ( chauffeur did a terrible accident and used to steall money by taking passengers and not informing us), but the Omni made us rich.
Man I have Toyota etios liva and this is the cutest car in my life. I love this car but I agree that the instrument cluster is not good but the wooden finish around the instrument cluster is amazing. That speedometer in the centre is quite good.
I would disagree for the fact by skoda Laura and Toyota etios well etios was more like a reliable and most realistic economical that lived to the expectations of all reliability and offcourse that car had some serious build quality I have see videos of Toyota etios crash which was impressive and about skoda Laura it was a not only the real skoda but also the "tuner's paradise"
I have an urban cruiser, it's an interesting story.. if you have time you can read it!! So I was never in favour of rebadged brezza and also not in favour of brezza but the same reason became the reason of its purchase. In 2022 maruti launched new model of brezza and Toyota were still selling the old one and that created a massive 2.3lac difference model to model. Even all the other cars in the segment weren't offering the features we could get below 13lac. Of course the newer models had better features and a latest manufacturing label but still the cost difference was not justified moreover the only effective upgrade was the infotainment system. That led to us buying the vehicle that wasn't the first, second.. it wasn't even top 7 or 8 cars kushaq, slavia, taigun, virtus, nexon, city, xuv300, brezza, venue, urban cruiser. And urban cruiser had an on road cost of 10.80lac while all the other vehicles had my desired features at a minimum of 13.15lac that was in brezza. Kinda long story but sorry if it consumed your time, have a nice day ahead.

Omni was my family's first car. That came out to be lucky for my father, he started shipping business back in the days when ecommerce and all was not there. Currently we are outsourcing partners for all the delivery companies in our district. My father considers Omni as his second child❤ lots of memories with Omni.
I personally like the Urban cruiser grill. Etios is very much popular amongst cabbies. Omni served it’s purpose till the cery end. Right now Eeco is on demand due to Omni being discontinued
Toyota literally has 3 maruti suzuki caes which are just relabeled and small cosmetic changes - baleno/glanza, brezza/urban cruizer, grand vitara/urban cruizer hyryder
And 5 cars that should get discontinued, as they are sold as copy cars are Hyryder (as Grand Vitarra is there), Sonet (as Venue is there), Kushaq (as Taigun is there), Slavia (as Virtus is there), Scorpio Classic (as Scorpio N is there).
Etios/liva are one among the finest automobiles in india..features doesn't matter,those things are cheaper to maintain n last for a lifetime when taken care of(unless given the beans.,ie revvin the nuts off..)
I swear to god, we have a etios and people are begging us to give it to them even at very high prices even though it has already been used 200,000 km and we use it local meaning lots and lots of use of gear shifting but not once have we had to get new clutch plates and no matter the looks you will never get the etios engine and performance in any other car.
I’m also glad that Laura is discontinued. My father used to ask me the details about some cars when we used to travel, and it wasn’t a pleasant thing when a Laura passed by
Omni was my grandfather's car. He got it in the 90's and used well over 30 years with lot of miles. He used to drive it even when he was 86. Its very practical no nonsense minivan. Businesses still use that as a transport vehicle. The engine is very reliable.
Etios diesel was the best one for cab fleets. Some of the drivers in bangalore got 5 lakh kilometers on their etios cars within 3 years and it's indestructible. Sad that it got discontinued
My dad owns the Etios Liva. He bought it when it first came out and we still love it. Granted it looks ugly and the interiors are terrible as well, but the car is very reliable, has a lot of space and is very comfortable to drive.
