I’ve been watching your content since 2011/2012. Mainly for hair content while you were in your PhD programme. I even remember your short lived TH-cam reality show with 2 other creators. I was married at 27, divorced at 35 and now I’m almost 39 at the final stage of my PhD (which started post divorce). I love that you kept all your videos up and to see your growth and happiness.

Thank you for posting this video and congrats for your marriage and precious baby! I sometimes feel so behind especially with romance, children etc. I am 36, single and have no children, but I have faith that it will happen sooner or later if God says the same. I got my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in my 20's but I had cancer at 27 which put a halt on everything else I had planned. I am now much healthier and I am happy in my career field. I just need to make myself available to dating, but I am an introvert lol.

I literally wanted you to talk about this but I was ashamed to even write it down as a request. Thank you so much for posting this video. I went on my first date when I was 26. Received my Bachelor’s degree at 28 and my Master’s degree at the age of 30. I’m now recovering from an abusive relationship, so who knows when I’ll open my heart to someone else again. I’m also in the process of starting my own business at 34. So this is just the encouragement I needed. Thank you love. Truly. ❤❤❤❤

I became a mother at 23 as well and was in a toxic abusive relationship with the father for my entire 20s. Once I freed myself from it I began a long healing journey but through the journey and as the years went on I was worried about if I would ever get a chance to experience real love, a stress free pregnancy(ies), marriage, a fruitful career, successful businesses, all of it! I’m now 37 and my career is flourishing, my businesses are growing, love has found me, I’ve lost over 100lbs…I’m just waiting on God to continue to guide this journey. I pray over my womb so that I can bare more children. I just give it all to God!! Thanks @@BeautifulBrwnBabyDol for this video💜💜💜😘😘😘 You journey is truly an inspiration 💜

All my life I've been a late bloomer. I am turning 38 in 24 days with no kids, husband or house (though not struggling financially but don't feel secure). Received my first degree at 25 and second degree at 28. Even after getting my degree, I applied to over 50 jobs and had to wait 1.5 years to get a decent job because I didn't have any experience. It's hard seeing others thriving while you're just surviving. I have always been to one to help others around me even to my own detriment. This video came right on but I am feeling a bit weary.

I know it’s cliché and ad nauseam but you really shouldn’t compare yourself to others. Mentally and emotionally I feel more prepared for an upgrade in my career and education now, not in my 20s or 30s. I find that people I know who had families in their 20s and 30s tell me ALL the TIME that they wish they waited and maybe didn’t have as many children. Plus, focused more on their education and careers. No answer or way is correct. Each of us have our own road to travel. Life lifes us in directions that are best for us at specific times. As long as we’re alive, there is always opportunity to switch things up.

Do what you got to do to get to where you want to go is exactly what I needed to hear. I mean I knew it but to have someone tell me who not only I admire but someone see who is wise to hits differently for me. I am 22 days into leaving a toxic, borderline DV relationship and it’s been freeing but also burdening at the same time. I thought about giving up, I had thoughts of regret, I was low-key going towards hopeless. But apparently this is the healing stage and no one is going to get me where I want to be in life! I just have to do what i go to do to get to where I want to be! Thank you Dr. Nina! ❤

I actually don't look at you as a late bloomer. Looks fine to me lol. I would be considered a late bloomer, but I think the proper phrase is moving in our own personal journey at our own pace. Some of the people who "moved fast" or even at normal pace according to societal standards at a younger age in regards to dating/relationships are now older and living with regrets or thinking they missed out or divorcing and startin a new phase of their life. Maybe we are not "late" at all and others are moving too fast lol. I used to feel bad about not moving same as my peers but now Im living a life others look at with envy(which I dont like lol, we all got out lives to live!).

This was a great video! I’m a late bloomer when it comes to relationships. I was focused on school and getting a career that I really wanted. I’m stable in everything but that. Close to 40 with no marriage prospects and no children. I will say though, it’s very important to know the reasons why you “want” something. Sometimes I think about children and I’m like “do I really want them?” Most times I’m around them, I’m glad I can return them to their families….😂 I’m also in the education field so I see the affects of poor parenting all of the time. Anyway, thanks for sharing Nina! Thank Sean for the skincare tips!!! 😂

I’ll be 33 in a couple weeks and I have nothing really going for me. I only have an associates degree that I got 6 years ago, in accounting. I worked as a cake decorator during school and I’m still working as one because I couldn’t find a job in the accounting field with no experience and no bachelors/ masters degree. No savings, no 401k, no bachelors degree, no career. I want to go back to school, I want to eventually to get my masters but I feel like I’m too old to achieve that now.

Hi, what are some ways that we can engage in online groups to meet other accountability partners?
