Wow, Great video, Yes you pulled the engines water pump. Your boat really needs a salt water cooling system. Love you channel and all of your great videos.
Very informative video. Thank you. I suspect mine has an issue. Leaking. All the extra hints will help with preparation. Great camera positioning also.
Thanks for the comment Sharron. If you haven’t already, subscribe to my channel and send my your video suggestions. Working on one now for replacing hydraulic trim lines… ooh! Exciting!
That’s a great way to ruin your day, Jose… if you are missing any rubber pieces, they are probably circulating in your heat exchanger if you have a closed system, or you may have spit them out in your exhaust. The repair isn’t difficult, just impossible to get to in my case.

Winston is such a good helper 😂
He keeps things from blowing away
Dude thanks. I Watched your video and also though the recirculating pump was the water pump lol
I took it off by accident but actually found out that it was easier to do the water pump repair with it out of the way!
Would dipping and cleaning the pulleys into the phosphorus acid not remove the lubricant from the bearings inside? 😮
Hey Alan… yes you are right. I only dipped the part without the pulley into the Phosphoric acid to clean it.
Did the acid you used to clean the casing cause any damage to the bearings? 😮
No it did not
Had the same thing happen to me last weekend, hope parts of the impeller didn't get into the engine.
