Simple, if you already have AirPods 2 or the originals don’t upgrade, if you don’t got any AirPods just get the pros 🤷🏽♂️ Don’t underestimate the in ear design it’s really comfortable in my ears and especially since it comes with 3 different sizes. Yes they’re more expensive but it’s worth the extra $100. I got some in January and ever since I’ve been loving them they sound amazing and the transparency and noise canceling works like a charm.

One of the most underrated advantages of AirPod Pros is that you dont have to ram up the volume on music to get that good feel. Even at 50% outside, I can hear them just fine.

One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.
Transparency mode makes them feel EXACTLY like the regular pods. That was my biggest hesitation in buying them but it’s amazing Also the noise canceling is very nice because it allows you to listen at lower volumes and not blow out your ears. Or if you have a loud AC unit next to you at home it completely minimizes it

Bought some airpods gen 1 from my coworker for $50 and they are great. I use them with my new 11 pro and couldn't be happier. I don't need noise cancellation but I do need good sound, battery life and connectivity, which the airpods provide me.

Thank you, I have been doing just fine with the wired earphones for years but I have just found it's really inconvenient, it gets caught everywhere so after a long hesitation I am giving in and buying airpods but since there are different models I was hesitant but when you asked "do you need noise canceling or not?" my decision was quickly made because I definitely don't! Listen, the extra $50 you shell out for Pros are definitely worth it. I've owned both and I can say with certainty that those $50 would not go to waste.
Isaac Ramos pro’s because noise cancellation and transparency, also better frequencies when hitting higher pitch noises, regular airpods are solely good at hitting bass notes, pros are great at both. I have the Pro’s and they’ve never let me down
Howd they last well for so long? I had mine for about 6 months before they started becoming weird(one AirPod would lose battery quicker than the other or one AirPod would be quieter than the other). Tbf I did use them literally every single day but I expected them to at least last in good conditions for about a year.

AirPods Pro all day! Never could stand how the regular headphones felt in my ear. They would always hurt my ear after a while. With the AirPods Pro I forget they are their sometimes in Transparency mode. Completely forget! Love mine! Never thought I’d spend $200 on EarPods but glad I did now!
One of myAir Pods spent 2 months regularly submerged in the drain of my bath, we cleaned it 3 times with bleach, and it came out mostly fine, and letting it dry and it had the same audio quality.

For those who don't always find the original Apple Earpods to be comfortable, what has been your experience with the Apple Airpods? I'm interested to know as the main thing reason I'm trying to decide between the Aipods and the Airpod Pros is that I'm concerned about the Aipods not being comfortable enough in my ears, as I've always got on better with earphones that have silicon tips. That being said, it is a rather large price jump between the Aipods (if I got normal Airpods I'd just get Gen 1 because I don't really care about wireless charging) and the Airpod Pros. I haven’t had them for too long but in my experience they’re a lot more comfortable than the earbuds. I’m the same way and I always found apple earbuds to be uncomfortable after slightly long periods of time and I was wary buying airpods as well. But they’re a bit thicker and easier on the ear and are overall pretty comfortable.
I don’t want active noise cancellation anyway because I use them for my second job as a cleaner in the evenings. I think I may get the pro because they are less obvious. Just wish they came in black ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I’ve had both, and tbh I much rather prefer the pros, for three reasons. 1. I want to be able to block out background noise. 2. The regular pods kept falling out of my ears and wouldn’t grip on. 3. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM.... The sound. I’m sorry but the airpods have the worst volume ever. I turned it up all the way and could barely hear my music. After purchasing the pros, I only had to put it to half volume and it was much louder. (Plus I could turn on noise canceling to further make it louder)

My perspective: headphones like the regular airpods would normally fall out of my ear due to talking, eating, etc. But headphones like the airpod pros have that snug fit that doesn’t fall out of my ear as often

My gen 1 AirPods are still going strong and the sound quality is 🔥. I’m upgrading to the Pro’s after work today though lol. Best Buy and Target has them on sale for $169 in which the Pro 2’s or gen 4 is soon to be released this fall 😅.
I own AirPods pro and a week after I bought them I went on a vacation. On the plane, the noise cancellation was amazing for in ear earbuds. They canceled out almost everything with no music playing. When I played music half volume, I couldn’t hear a thing. Also, if your riding with someone in a car, and they would like to listen to Yummy by justin Bieber on the radio, not a problem. Turn on noise cancellation and play something else and it’s all gone. Not to sound like a VSCO girl but their almost life changing. I HIGHLY recommend AirPods pro.
I’m looking toward the Pros but I have a quick question for you. I currently own a pair of Jabra 65t and that thumping/thud noise when wearing them absolutely drives me crazy when I walk run or even chewing. Have you noticed whether or not the Pros do this. I imagine that vent helps as I’ve heard it equalizes ear pressure? Thank you in advance.

Transparency and noise canceling are both very good. The fit and features are better than Jabra 65t in my opinion. If you have any other questions let me know

I was thinking about pro since my gen 2 broke. Alot of other reviews says that Airpods Pro "Off mode" is like regular airpods. But you said that if it is importent to hear things around you, go with gen 2. So i got my second pair of gen 2. Thanks alot!!!

I just want to give one bit of my personal experience because you talked about washing & drying your AirPods and them surviving, my 15 year old daughter (teenager 🙄) accidentally washed and dried her 1st series AirPods 1 time and they were more dead than disco LOL.
I think it also comes down to fit. Airpods 1 2 are just regular ear phone style so they might fall out of your ear if you have a differnt ear type but the pros that silicone tip grabs you ear and holds them in better than the regular airpods.

AirPods Pro all day! Never could stand how the regular headphones felt in my ear. They would always hurt my ear after a while. With the AirPods Pro I forget they are their sometimes in Transparency mode.
Completely forget! Love mine! Never thought I’d spend $200 on EarPods but glad I did now!
One of myAir Pods spent 2 months regularly submerged in the drain of my bath, we cleaned it 3 times with bleach, and it came out mostly fine, and letting it dry and it had the same audio quality.

For those who don't always find the original Apple Earpods to be comfortable, what has been your experience with the Apple Airpods? I'm interested to know as the main thing reason I'm trying to decide between the Aipods and the Airpod Pros is that I'm concerned about the Aipods not being comfortable enough in my ears, as I've always got on better with earphones that have silicon tips. That being said, it is a rather large price jump between the Aipods (if I got normal Airpods I'd just get Gen 1 because I don't really care about wireless charging) and the Airpod Pros. Opinions, anyone?
I haven’t had them for too long but in my experience they’re a lot more comfortable than the earbuds. I’m the same way and I always found apple earbuds to be uncomfortable after slightly long periods of time and I was wary buying airpods as well. But they’re a bit thicker and easier on the ear and are overall pretty comfortable.

I don’t want active noise cancellation anyway because I use them for my second job as a cleaner in the evenings. I think I may get the pro because they are less obvious. Just wish they came in black

Honestly unless you really need that new new look and feel, the standard air pods do the job fine.
I’ve had both, and tbh I much rather prefer the pros, for three reasons.
1. I want to be able to block out background noise.
2. The regular pods kept falling out of my ears and wouldn’t grip on.
3. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM.... The sound. I’m sorry but the airpods have the worst volume ever. I turned it up all the way and could barely hear my music. After purchasing the pros, I only had to put it to half volume and it was much louder. (Plus I could turn on noise canceling to further make it louder)

I just got AirPods Pro and they’re AMAZING! I hardly use noise cancellation because I like to know what’s going on but I could definitely see why these would be better especially if you’re a student on the move.
My perspective: headphones like the regular airpods would normally fall out of my ear due to talking, eating, etc. But headphones like the airpod pros have that snug fit that doesn’t fall out of my ear as often

someone stole my airpods pros that i got for my birthday and i got over them after being sad for weeks but then christmas came along and i got regular airpods and i feel so bad about missing my airpods pros. like i really appreciate the airpods but its making me think about my airpods pros and the noise cancellation, quality, the way u could just click the sides and it would just pause. idk small shit but it made a difference. im not ungrateful or spoiled. this was the most expensive thing ive ever gotten. i feel bad anyways

My gen 1 AirPods are still going strong and the sound quality is 🔥. I’m upgrading to the Pro’s after work today though lol. Best Buy and Target has them on sale for $169 in which the Pro 2’s or gen 4 is soon to be released this fall 😅.
I own AirPods pro and a week after I bought them I went on a vacation. On the plane, the noise cancellation was amazing for in ear earbuds. They canceled out almost everything with no music playing. When I played music half volume, I couldn’t hear a thing. Also, if your riding with someone in a car, and they would like to listen to Yummy by justin Bieber on the radio, not a problem. Turn on noise cancellation and play something else and it’s all gone. Not to sound like a VSCO girl but their almost life changing. I HIGHLY recommend AirPods pro.

I currently own a pair of Jabra 65t and that thumping/thud noise when wearing them absolutely drives me crazy when I walk run or even chewing. Have you noticed whether or not the Pros do this. I imagine that vent helps as I’ve heard it equalizes ear pressure?

So I bought the AirPod pro. They are very nice. That thumping/thud noise is hardly noticeable. With that said I haven’t run with them. Transparency and noise canceling are both very good. The fit and features are better than Jabra 65t in my opinion. If you have any other questions let me know

Pemy Atencio to be fair, I have never used the original airpods so I can’t really compare. What I can tell you is that I love them and feel that for the features they are worth the price.

Well the noice cancellation does it’s job but I can’t tell if it’s actually useful or not but the pros are REALLY loud
I was thinking about pro since my gen 2 broke. Alot of other reviews says that Airpods Pro "Off mode" is like regular airpods. But you said that if it is importent to hear things around you, go with gen 2. So i got my second pair of gen 2.

The only reason why I’m leaning towards the pros is because usually the ones without rubber usually pops out of my ear & hurts when I keep trying to make it stay. Geez but not sure 🤔 hard decision because I would still like to hear what’s around me on a regular day

Marshe Sutton at first no. But I messed around with the EQ in settings and finally tried the transparent mode. So I was at work eating outside and playing some old school pac and I could hear the breeze through the trees and birds and other ish in the background. It's a great pick up

I feel like the air pods sound better and louder. Why is that? Also when I rub up on them when I lay down I can hear the fabric touching it.
I have AirPods 2. But they’re so quiet so I use my wired ones instead. I don’t know if there’s something wrong with my airpods or if they’re supposed to sound like that, but I’m pretty sure they were louder when I bought them

It’s good to have noise cancellation tho, you won’t need to turn the music up so much and that’s a good thing for your ears, I think it’s worth the extra 40 for sure

I just want to give one bit of my personal experience because you talked about washing & drying your AirPods and them surviving, my 15 year old daughter (teenager 🙄) accidentally washed and dried her 1st series AirPods 1 time and they were more dead than disco LOL.

I think it also comes down to fit. Airpods 1 2 are just regular ear phone style so they might fall out of your ear if you have a differnt ear type but the pros that silicone tip grabs you ear and holds them in better than the regular airpods.
