Brandon Butch I got the Pro’s the first day. I wear them a lot and agree about no ear wax buildup. I tried all the sizes and use the medium. I get a little less battery also but the noise cancellation is worth it. I’m really glad I bought them. I have no discomfort issues. I have used both AirPods 1&2. They were good but the Pros are better in my opinion. I wear them between 4 & 7 hours a day Monday thru Friday. Thanks for your videos. I want to add that I use them for phone calls quite often indoors and out and don’t have any problems hearing or being heard. I was surprised especially with the calls outdoors. Coworkers have told me I sound fine.
Brandon Butch I’ve got two Shortcuts, “Listen” tells the device to pause and then switch to Transparency Mode; the second “Carry on” switches on Noise Cancelling then tells the device to play. Running them I often get the two AirPods out of sync, perhaps 200 mSec difference in audio, or sometimes it won’t start playing - flicks the play indicator on and then back to pause after a second. Tried all this doing it manually without Shortcuts and can get the same glitches esp the non-playing.
I think transparency mode is brilliant. I have some Bose QC 35 II OTE headphones, and if I just turned off the ANC, I would just get a muffled sound, likewise normal earbuds if I turned the sound off. Got my pros for a few days now. When I ride in traffic I use transparent mode. The ANC is so good that I won’t notice a car behind me until I turn my head and see it. But when I ride along the river or on bike paths, I switch to ANC. Compared to my non ANC headphones it blocks wind and other noises and I can listen at a much lower volume which saves battery and is much healthier for my ears.
More satisfying in the AirPods 2?? I have the pros and I’m literally addicted to opening and closing the case. I love that it sounds heavier than the older ones
Victor Ryan Another benefit to the Pro case over the regular case is that it’s wide enough to act as an iPhone stand in landscape. Want to watch videos and don’t have a stand? Just use the AirPods Pro case. Open it up and put the iPhone on the lid with the back resting against the case.
Waiz Mansoor True! The way the old ones sit in the case facing away from each other doesn’t look good imo... And the shape of the case makes it look like a toy

vSauceKing same I tried the medium and they kept falling out and I asked a friend and he said his never fell so I tried on the large and they’re perfect
Angel Corta active noise cancelling is honestly amazing it’s perfect for me and the transparency mode is just as good it enhances your hearing like crazy
Just spent so much money on these AP pros . But I love them . They stay in the ear , didn’t experience any pain , and talk time for after 1 hour and 18 minutes battery was 67% , I was only using one at the time, so I don’t know if that makes a difference.
I've had a couple different headphones including some true wireless buds and I have to say that the Airpods Pro are the first ones that feel really comfortable for extended periods. I think part of it is that they have vents to keep from building up pressure in my ears and at the same time they're really light. I think a third factor for the comfortability is that the transparency mode provides really clear sound almost as if I weren't wearing them by contrast I have a pair of Echo Buds, which have a passthrough mode but everything still sounds a bit muffled. Another thing I really like about the Pros are that if I do need to adjust the fit while listening I'm not going to run into the problem of accidentally triggering something. I don't know how many times I've adjusted my Echo Buds and accidentally skipped to the next track or paused the music. When I was deciding between getting the Airpods 2 and the Pros I decided to get the Pros in part because of the active noise cancellation. Some other things I like is the integration with the Apple Watch. Simple things like volume control and skipping tracks not to mention playing and pausing via the watch is just a great touch.
Excellent and detailed comparison/review, thank so much for taking time to out this together! My husband has AirPods 2, and when I try them out on their own, they end up hurting my ears after a while (my ear is just a little too small for the height of the earbud when it’s sitting in my ear). I use those silicone earpieces you can buy separately on Amazon or wherever, around my own earbuds, to be able to use them with them sitting in the outermost part of my ear, while still staying put. That helps the pain, and it does the same thing when I use them with my husband AirPods 2. **My question: you mention the comfort of the AirPods Pro. Would you think that would be the case given my situation? Noise cancellation is very important to me, but not at the cost of a noticeable difference in comfort.**
@@ghosttiee9212 I have the AirPods 2, I’m upgrading to AirPods Pro. The AirPods 2 is good, but I just don’t get the vibe with music without noice cancellation. Hope the AirPods 2 is the perfect one for you!
the biggest reason i didnt get pros is for safety concerns while walking. Don't pedal your bike next to cars with noise canceling pods!!! This is so wrong in every way!
The fit test only tests the seal at the time of testing not the fit in all future scenarios or the comfort... EDIT: My point being that for what you’re judging the fit test on “accuracy” has nothing to do with it. For what it was made to detect it IS accurate. If you had done a fit test after a workout when they came loose it would’ve told you that you don’t have a good seal -_-
I have a few questions about the Airpods Pro. Is the case the charger? And if so, do I need to buy a separate charger for the case as well? I'm thinking of getting the Airpod Pro, but I'm a little confused by the charging situation.
I was worried at first because they weren’t very comfortable to me and the noise canceling made me a little nauseated. But I gave it a little time and my body seems to have gotten used to them. Now I couldn’t imagine going back to the basic AirPods. I can actually wear both pros too. With the original AirPods my left side would always fall out if I did anything other than sit still. Now i can run with them both and they stay put. 🙌🏽
Had them for a week, anybody had trouble having them stay in? any type of moving was enough to make them come loos ( Yes I tried all ear tips). The sound quality was amazing!
I've used earbuds for many years, and I know one of my ear canals is smaller than the other, so there was always a mismatch on my AirPods. But now I have AirPods Pro, I have a perfect fit and balance, like I had with my old Sennheisers that broke. And transparency mode blows me away.
My ears are molded from over a decade to apple’s earbud shape they are so secure in my ear it impresses me how well they stay in. I can’t do in ear buds.
A lot of my friends are against me buying Airpods Pro because according to them they’re not worth the money. I purchased and I can say the $300 is worth it. It just delivers. Tip though, if you don’t have that extra money, save for it even if you save for months and months. Don’t poke a hole in your pocket.
I’ve gotten reviews from customers at the store I work for and many don’t like the pros because you deal with more magnets and the magnetic buds come off easily apparently. The original AirPods got an upgrade, they’re second gen now and they link up faster to your device.
Part of the reason why I wanna upgrade is because the build up of ear wax in the AirPods 2 is very irritating, and it causes them to slowly get quieter until you can barely hear them. Does this still happen with the pros?
I really am on the fence on which one to get for just ONE FACTOR I love how the airpods 1&2 buds are shaped and I don’t know if I’d like how the airpods Pro feels but I LOVE the features 😔 help!
I have the pros after having the air pods 2. I’m still on the fence. One thing I noticed with the pros is that they fall out more. I am going to change the tip and maybe that will work better? Other than that the sound is amazing
studivan it’s common sense not to wear AirPods while having a conversation with someone, and it’s the law in many states to not wear them while driving. But they’re fine to wear when you’re walking/riding a bike in the city, shopping in a store, etc. Transparency mode in the AirPods Pro is necessary for pedestrian/bike-riding safety, and is helpful when walking up to checkout in a store.
hey I have a question, does the AirPods Pro have better sound quality than AirPods 2? I returned my AirPods and now saving up for the pro but i want to know if i should?
According to several YT reviewers (self-proclaimed audiophiles and audio technicians, too) the sound quality is almost the same, if not a bit improved because of how they're built; basically, almost any earbud gives you better sound quality than a standard earphone, because of the seal the tip gives you. Personally, I bought the Pros because of the noise cancelling + transparency features AND the ease of use/overall versatility. If you really, truly care for audio quality, a lot of people are recommending the Sony WF-1000XM3 for their amazing sound, but apparently they come with their own small problems on the side.
@@gepixelt7712 you didn't understand what pometown was saying, pometown meant that from the airpods 1 to the airpods 2 there is basically not much difference, but people were rushing to buy the airpods 2 because there were "the version 2"

If you own an Apple phone and have AirPods or Airpod Pro then here's a tip for sound quality which seems to have slipped under the radar. Put on your go-to quality testing music, I use Temptation from Diana Krall. Go into... Settings Accessibility Audio/Visual Headphone Accommodations -[ON] You can then listen with several different equalizer settings and find the one you like the most. If you need help there is a "Custom Audio Setup" that will help you by going through several choices. There is also a possibility to use music that Apple suggests if you like with a "Play Sample" button lower down the page.

Tech In RL I’ve tried this and it doesn’t work too well... not sure if I’m doing it wrong but my phone falls over so easily 😂
Victor Ryan i have a xs max and the airpods 2 case is too small😔
The fact that the actual buds slide out rather that you having to pull them out is even more satisfying
Waiz Mansoor True! The way the old ones sit in the case facing away from each other doesn’t look good imo... And the shape of the case makes it look like a toy
“It’s a lot longer and shorter”
Me: understandable
I went and got got my AirPod Pro’s yesterday & I absolutely love them! I would recommend anyone to upgrade! It’s expensive but it’s well worth it!
Debo Minor are you experiencing any ear pain while wearing them for a while?
@@nightcam3190 i got the same question, pls answer
Bryan Rubio the first hour or two you may experience some type of pain but after a day or two, you won’t notice this and they are super comfortable. I can lay my head sideways on a pillow with the AirPods pro in my ears and it doesn’t hurt my ears and is still comfortable.

You can change the tips out to make them smaller.

Nooo lol keep your Tik Tokness away from TH-cam 😂
Here is the thing: they are amazing IF they fit and stay in your ears. If they do not, you are screwed.
That’s why you get different silicone ear tips
i’m scared they won’t stay in my ears
@@ru8yjean Go to an Apple store and try them out.
omg ruby I tried all 3 and they stay in if I don’t shake too much. If I try my hardest to make them fall, they will. They also seem to loosen up in my ears when I laugh. Never had this issue with the original air pods
ButterMilkHoney ah, the 2nd generation ones don’t fall out at all
Honestly i like the the hard plastic earbud over the silicone tip, was never a fan of those type of earbuds so the pros aint for me
I just got my Pros about a week ago and experienced the same thing you did, I initially had the Mediums on and they fit fine but kept falling out and kinda hurt my ears so I switched to the Smalls, but overall they're great and I love ANC
*Update*
I actually switched to the Larges because they fit better and feel more comfortable
vSauceKing switched to large too
vSauceKing same I tried the medium and they kept falling out and I asked a friend and he said his never fell so I tried on the large and they’re perfect
Is the ACN really as good as they say it is?? And is transparency mode trash??
same problem here, ill try the large ones.
Angel Corta active noise cancelling is honestly amazing it’s perfect for me and the transparency mode is just as good it enhances your hearing like crazy
You should always use transparency mode whilst driving a bike! Not hearing cars is dangerous , safety first! Nevertheless great review, thx!
Riding a bike?
Tip for anyone considering making one of these types of videos- START WITH THE F****** AUDIO QUALITY
Hahaha 😂

I got the Air pods 2 because I don't like how the air pods pro look
I just got the AirPods 2 from Amazon 2 days ago I love them I didn’t want the pros
@@ghosttiee9212 I have the AirPods 2, I’m upgrading to AirPods Pro. The AirPods 2 is good, but I just don’t get the vibe with music without noice cancellation. Hope the AirPods 2 is the perfect one for you!
Does anyone else worry for this guy he can’t hear anything outside just me or should be more careful Bc a car could hit
Transparency mode
Cycling in noise cancellation mode will get you injured or worse. Highly recommend transparency mode.
my thoughts exactly!
the biggest reason i didnt get pros is for safety concerns while walking. Don't pedal your bike next to cars with noise canceling pods!!! This is so wrong in every way!
Muggy Duke you can still hear cars they just hiss instead of roar. It’s very nice as I don’t have to crank up my audio books to max volume anymore.
The fit test only tests the seal at the time of testing not the fit in all future scenarios or the comfort...
EDIT: My point being that for what you’re judging the fit test on “accuracy” has nothing to do with it. For what it was made to detect it IS accurate. If you had done a fit test after a workout when they came loose it would’ve told you that you don’t have a good seal -_-
I got the AirPods 2 and I love them and got my partner AirPods 2 also for Christmas
Troy Cruz so ur boyfriend?
papa the frog there’s no other explanation
I’ll leave you to ponder that but more importantly the 2nd gen airPods are great
Can I be ur partner

Edit: Bought it, gotta wait till January 13 or 24...

Rawiti if you got the free engraving you have to wait more
jose I had to wait another 2 weeks for that but I didn’t do it
Ebay my friend
Fun fact

Brandon Butch yeah I’m from india😚tqsm😇
I love my airpods 2, but wish I had the pros for noise cancelling when I'm on the city bus and people are talking.
Had them for a week, anybody had trouble having them stay in? any type of moving was enough to make them come loos ( Yes I tried all ear tips). The sound quality was amazing!
Yeah I returned them for this reason, really disappointed
They fit really well and sound is insane
I've used earbuds for many years, and I know one of my ear canals is smaller than the other, so there was always a mismatch on my AirPods. But now I have AirPods Pro, I have a perfect fit and balance, like I had with my old Sennheisers that broke. And transparency mode blows me away.
My ears are molded from over a decade to apple’s earbud shape they are so secure in my ear it impresses me how well they stay in. I can’t do in ear buds.
Steven Vaughn The apple earbuds are fucking uncomfortable as hell
Idk if I’m just super high or what but your “S” pierce tf outta my ears
6:47 always remember to enable transparency before passing intersections/train tracks
Or be normal and not wear your AirPods while you're driving or having a conversation with someone, the hell with transparency.
studivan it’s common sense not to wear AirPods while having a conversation with someone, and it’s the law in many states to not wear them while driving.
Does transparency and noise cancelling work with other phones?
This is what the AirPod 2 shoulda been
This is intentional. Apple wants to squeeze every penny out of its loyalists.
@@pometown That is not true. The AirPods Pro are the best In-Ear headphones on the market and "only" 30-60$ more expensive than the competition.
@@gepixelt7712 you didn't understand what pometown was saying, pometown meant that from the airpods 1 to the airpods 2 there is basically not much difference, but people were rushing to buy the airpods 2 because there were "the version 2"
Arturo Barroso oh thats right
yes it was intentional but they did they did what they did so if they did not need the wireless charging they could save money and not get it.
I enjoyed your review. Straight forward. In the end, I purchased the AP2’s. The in-ear tips just don’t work for me. Make my ear canals sore. Good job though as you included many objective points buyers ought to know. Thx!
They are bitterly out of stalk everywhere
litterly* stock*
Fine, but what about their stock of them?
Thanos get them online on best buy
Elite SnipeZ out
Thanos tuff I ordered online on the 16

Hey by chance have you tried running with the pro? I run marathons and don’t want any issues with them falling out
Can you use the airpods pro with and without the ear tips?
This cleared my conscious while waiting on my pros to arrive..
At&T stores have them in stock. You’re welcome.
Thx I really thought I had to wait a month just for this to get back in stock

I've got a question, if you have a macbook, an iPhone, and the airpods, do the airpods connect to both the macbook, and the iPhone?
I prefer the airpods pro way more than the past versions especially because of the transparency mode and nose cancellation, it really feels natural and doesn't feel like there's anything in my ears at all.
Should I get these or wait til they come out with new ones??
These actually are the new ones.
Joshua Recinos well yeah ok but the ones they’ll eventually make after this
Just get these its gonna take some time before they sell the airpod 3
You’re gonna have to wait a couple of years my dude
Waiting for new ones will just be you making yourself wait forever
I have to say from upgrading from the gen 1 airpods and from cleaning them every 3 days I clean my air pods pro every 2 weeks because a little bit of wax gets stored in the ear tip
i don’t think you finished mate
Great review!! Do you know when Apple is gonna release the AirPods in different colors, like black or red etc?
Thanks! I'm hoping the 2nd gen Pro's will come in black but I haven't seen any recent rumors so we'll have to wait until next year to see!
Brandon Butch they cant, its expensive, theyre gonna have to pay taxes to black people if they make them black, something about tax corporation. You can google its tre
@@atiqaly6567 lol what

This review is the best review I’ve watched for the AirPods Pro.. thanks for helping me choose!
I love my AirPod 2nd gens... I don’t see a reason to upgrade especially for that price. I have the beats solo3 so I think I’m good for a while now
after a year of growing my hair out, teachers shouldn’t see a thing when i have my pros on👌
Haha 😆
Now just have somebody whisper the answers on your ear 😉👌
Awesome video! I have AirPods 1st generation, and I want noise cancelling so bad.
If you own an Apple phone and have AirPods or Airpod Pro then here's a tip for sound quality which seems to have slipped under the radar.
Put on your go-to quality testing music, I use Temptation from Diana Krall.
Go into...
Settings
Accessibility
Audio/Visual
Headphone Accommodations -[ON]
You can then listen with several different equalizer settings and find the one you like the most.
If you need help there is a "Custom Audio Setup" that will help you by going through several choices.
There is also a possibility to use music that Apple suggests if you like with a "Play Sample" button lower down the page.
I want to ask a question. Will charging overnight airpod pro will it ruin the battery’s?
I went to moms house and I Saw a pair of those and I have been longing for air pods for Christmas
I’m so glad I found my airpods. Clean, in the wireless charging case in a pile of sand at the side of the road. I hit the jackpot that day lmao
DammitCarl108 I swear...
Ive had the the airpods 1st gen for a little over a year, and they’re starting to sound wonky. My left AirPod sounds way lower than the right. I talked to Apple and they couldn’t do too much for me other than saying I could pay for a replacement. do you think I should just upgrade to the pros?
Zach Lloyd yes
If the pro is within ur budget then yeah why not?
I have the same Problem...
I cleaned them and everything but nothing helped :/
Probably just ask for them for Christmas
Careful on your bike. Use transparency feature?
Had airpods and got the Pro. Omg the Pro noise cancelling is unbelievable.worth switching. Mine fell out also until I tried the other tips.no complaints so far.
I was confused getting AirPods or AirPods pro .. like AirPods case looks nice but Pro has ton of features and advantages.. so i guess im gonna take pro .. also confused should i take now or wait for new one to release 🙃🙃
yes! Exactly my situation.
Great 👍 Review❗️I am getting the pros, I couldn’t keep the right ear in place with the originals ❗️✅
I had the pros for a week. They actually hurt my ears due to their new design after only 15 minutes. Specifically my left. Ended up with the Jabra 75t Actives. No pain. The APPs are awesome but not for me unfortunately. Comfort is priority one.
should i get the airpods pro or the wh-100xm3 for college
Are they waterproof?
I don’t know. I kinda like the fact that I can run 10 feet without losing my buds. AirPods pro FTW. NUFF SAID!
R1_Rebe1 my regular AirPods never fell out while I ran
I bought the AirPods Pro one month ago and I'm super happy with them!
I’ve had mine a couple weeks. They’re great as far sound and functionality. I’m a mechanic, I don’t like white only. They’ve fallen out on me in some bad places too :/ The color is my biggest dislike.
The color is the thing I like the best on AirPods . Idk why people don’t like it it’s weird
Is there any sound delay?
Can I find or track my AirPods if someone else use them? Please answer thanks
who else got airpods for christmas?
Yep lol
Yep AirPods pro
I got 2nd gen air pods i love them but i learned about moving them into a different position because my left ear hurts with them but i love them
i got 2nd gen, i prefer them over the pros

Thanks! Getting the Pro as a gift to my wife!:)
Turn on transparency mode so you don’t get hit by a car
Yes binge watching AirPods just bought AirPod 2 . AirPods Pro look ok but I want to hear noise in background inside and outside . I think wearing noise cancellation airpods or headphones is definitely dangerous inside and outside especially before the pandemic .. stay safe and healthy.
Isn’t the noise cancellation dangerous in traffic? If you’re biking, can you hear cars coming your way or other road users?
Take a shot every time he says “airpods”
No, alcohol poisoning is not the one
