I was amused about your description about Filipino time. I agree to it. Even in the business world. If we have meetings, some attendees are late and it's no big deal. Before the meeting, there's so much pleasantry like talking about things unrelated to the agenda, eating the food during or before the meeting. Somebody walks in and will ask if you need another coffee, water or juice. There is so much interaction among us.

Our culture and tradition is a mixture of Spanish, American (USA colonized the country for 70 years); Japanese ( because Japan occupied the Philippines for 4 years from 1942 to 1945). Now China is trying to attach the Philippines as its province during the presidency of Rodrigo Duterte.Thanks to President BB Marcos Jr. , he thwarted China’s plan and the Filipinos finally fighting back for our territories and resources.
PH being the only Christian country in SEA is no longer true, ever since East Timor gained independence. They're predominantly Christian too, once occupied by Portugal.
