I remember hearing these guys 48 years ago when our group was touring. He used to call Geraldine, ""ole leather lungs." He called Jan " little Jan." These guys had traveled together for 25 years, last I heard. They went thru a lot, but trusted laughter and the Lord to carry them thru. His stories belong to the ages now. I can hear him saying to God, "I swear, with my hand up.."
I have been on the hunt for a song they did right about this time. I've typed it in every which a way I can think of and it won't come up. Surely it's there. It was on their live album.....may have even been this one??? Jan sings the most of it.....the verses. "Play Me Some Gospel Music" should be the name of it but I can't get it to come up under that. Anyone know how to find it? Love Wendy Bagwell and the Sunliters!!
Marion Hudson, neither one was his wife. the group basically formed in church. jerri I was a strength for wendy, jan, married Wendy's adopted nephew early in life,... she was only 16 years old when she started singing with them. wendy was jans uncle by marriage. jerri was the closest of family friends. I love them and miss them all. however jan,...and rev. jerry Goff are married and still preach the Gospel of JESUS christ. God bless you, evangelist jerry f.Miller
Marion Hudson Wendy Bagwells wife is named Melba. Geraldine Morrison is the one he teased unmercifully, but Jerri loved it as much as he did. they traveled together Geraldine was in her early twenties, Jan Buckner married Wendy's nephew, she began singing with the group at the age of 14. these people were always on the up and up. never no funny business, they lived pure holiness. May God bless you, evangelist Jerry f. Miller
