For drum tones and mixing, I personally use superior drummer 3 layered with the kick and snare from the Linn mk ii drum machine with lots of room reverb on the drum shells and heavy 7.5 inch tape saturation on the drum bus.
Mason-san. :) Thank you for your awesome comment! That'd sound very cool with texture of the Linn, having proper body of the sound. I also love layering drums with Linn or tr707 or tr808. I made drum tones like that in my City Pop arranged cover videos on TH-cam. Adding gate reverb on snare is another thing I love too :)
