Dubstep uses a half-tempo two-beat rhythm, and is sometimes divided 12/8. Most other electronic genres use derivatives of those rhythms. Thanks that's really great. I'm trying to write these patterns in GarageBand but I'm having trouble seeing the notation at the bottom of the screen. Is there any way of putting the notation higher up on the screen? Also it would be handy to have a thing that says what each of the coloured squares are, the writing is so small it's hard to make out if it's a kick drum, snare etc. I can distinguish between the sounds but it would be easier if there was some sort of reference thing to show what each of the coloured squares represent. Thanks again for your great work, much appreciated.
