I personally think that Ahsoka made her way to the World Between Worlds by chance. During the whole fight I was thinking that there must be an entrance to the World Between Worlds here at the reflex point, because there should be an entrance associated with the Purgil just like there was an entrance associated with the wolves on Lothal. So I think when she fell into the water below the map structure, she fell into the World Between Worlds.
I think Anakin (redeemed, dead Anakin) is waiting for her because the last time he saw her was when she was pulled into the World Between Worlds during her fight with Vader.
I don’t think it’s a place where Jedi go when they die. I think Anakin sought it out specifically to try to find her.

10:33 it appears that Sabine had no other choice. Baylon could have stopped Sabine at any point and killed her. If he defeated Ahsoka (which he did) Sabine stood no chance.
Her only option was to surrender and hope he is a man of his word. That way she will go with them and can live to fight another day.

    • @dwrdwlsn5

Baylen is an odd character in many ways. He is quite dark, let no one say otherwise. But at the same time, he does not kill Sabine and he honestly did not seem to want to fight Ahsoka. That flatly contradicts most of what we have seen in Dark Side Force users. So... what? I am confused, but hopeful for some kind of reveal as to why he is doing this.
And then to hear 'Hello Snips' followed by the Darth Vader theme opening at the end.... Is that Anakin or is that Vader? We will hopefully see next week.

I have a feeling that wasn't actually Anakin but the Son (he may be the one talking to her in the first episode too). Unless he is Anakin and somehow will help Ahsoka to set herself free from whatever has weighed her down.
Ahsoka will return stronger. From Ahsoka the "Grey", she turn into Ahsoka the "white" (Filoni has said that she is Star Wars' Gandalf). Now, this means that we might have a time "reverse" when Ahsoka returns to the "real" world but at the exact moment where she goes to pick Sabine up and start the search for Ezra and Thrawn (thus getting the scene from Rebels).

To be fare to Sabine since the ending of rebels her real family died and she could do nothing, her adopted family has moved on Hera is a General and is pretty busy with the New Republic, Zeb is also doing his own they within the larger galaxy, her master abandoned her because she had a hard time letting go of Attachments and Ezra who has helped her move past her past, reunite her with her family, help Liberate her home world, destroy the Duchess, he also was the one to help her open up and expect the darksaber for the time that see had it is lost in another galaxy. The reason she wants to find Ezra is that when she was at her lowest, when she needed help he was there for her, he was someone who'd fight beside her, someone to vent to when she needed to and maybe to her the only person left who won't abandon her.

With the parallels of Palpatine (Baylon), Anakin (Sabine) and Obi-Wan (Ahsoka) in this scenario, I believe it will lead to Ahsoka succeeding where Obi-Wan failed and will be able to save her Padawan. I know the situation is a lot different since it’s not like Baylon asked Sabine to join the dark side, since she’s ‘not a Jedi yet’ (get it?) but I believe this will ultimately be Ahsoka’s test to not give up on Sabine again.

People think too much into it...just like Marrok. I don't think Ahsoka is dead at this point...I think the force pulled her into this realm for a reason. Just like it sent Ezra to the world between worlds to save Ahsoka before. She has a connection to the force that is on another level, and it won't let her die until she has fulfilled her destiny. The Daughter chose to give her life to Ahsoka, because the force willed it, and she was pure enough to take on that role after the daughter was killed. She has a mission...whether she realizes it or not. The force sent Anakin to her as a lesson in her past, or a guide for her future.

In that state Annakin would not really be a good influence on an Ahsoka who is skirting between the light and dark sides of the force.

I fully believe in recasting characters, whether it is because a legacy actor is too old or a smaller role actor is no longer available. Star Wars is art and an actor is not the character. Much respect and RIP to Ray Stevenson, but if they aren't done with the character arc they must recast.

The next episode, directed by Filoni, is going to be a banger. Disney has so much confidence in it that they’re playing it in select theaters around the country.

I believe now that Anakin, as a force ghost used the world between worlds to save Ashoka. Like Ezra saved her. But the darth Vader theme played because maybe it’s not really anakin or maybe anakin will try to convince her to join the new empire.

I think at the least, they need to explore Baylan and Shin before the events of Ahsoka in comic or book form. This episode was my favorite thus far, it tied the other three episodes together nicely, while also opening up more room for the story to progress further.

In Star Wars canon, I believe, Qui-Gon Jinn, discovered the world between worlds, and that’s how Jedis become force spirits and the only way you could become a force spirit is, if you knew both the light and dark side of the force, which every force spirit we’ve seen has tapped into the Darkside at one point Quagen when he cheated to get the dice rolling, Obi-Wan, giving into his love for his brother on Mustafá and even Yoda when he felt ultimate dread after he was defeated by the emperor

  • @Zod_JB
    @Zod_JB ปีที่แล้ว

So now I’m curious about the whole force ghost & world between worlds stuff.
So when someone becomes a force ghost do they then reside in the world between worlds and that is how they are able to interact with the living world?
If that is the case and Ahsoka was brought to the world between worlds twice now, does that mean that a Jedi doesn’t necessarily need to learn how to become a force ghost and that someone who is already a force ghost could bring a dying Jedi over and essentially turn them into a force ghost for them?
Which could explain how Anakin became a force ghost without knowing how to do it himself, by Obi-wan bringing him over as he passed?
Or at the very least a force ghost obviously has access to the world between worlds and can bring someone over from the living world and then from there teach them how to become a force ghost?

We need Balin to stay in Star Wars canon, regardless of who plays him rest in peace Ray Stevenson, an awesome actor, but to lose a character like this in a one off series would be a greater tragedy for an over arcing story. We all excepted Don Cheadle‘s as war machine in marvel after he was re-casted, and as long as they stay true to the actual character, the actor doesn’t matter who plays him.

RIP Ray. I think actor replacement can still work for this character. Kinda like a Dumbledore continuity (no need to work anything into the plot - we all know what's happened IRL). Because Baylan is becoming such a beloved character, it would be a fitting tribute to Ray to keep his original portrayal of the character immortalised by keeping the character alive in universe. Unless the character has already become one with the force in the future episodes.

Baylan accepts that Thrawn will bring war, but believes the power he aims to gain from his participation, is bigger than the negatives of that war.
That can only be a few things. Baylan must believe that will have the power to go back and erase Order 66, The sith capture of the republic, and ensure that Thrawn never rises to power in any way. The 'greater good' he keeps talking about. Enter the World between Worlds and the 'pathway to Peridea'.
Dave might even be able to 'erase' the poor Disney sequels and make Georges original ideas in the 'corrected universe'.
