Just imagine running into this real life monster. Biggest predators around me are coyotes and I see them quite often even as a kid. This would traumatize me for life. Would never go outside again.
Where the heck was animal control with their tranquilizers??? Why didn't the cops shoot the bear? The dang thing was walking on the sidewalk, past mailboxes, and up people's lawns. How much closer to humans did it need to get before considering this scenario a serious public hazard?
