  • The 2015 Audi S8 with 520 horsepower and just enough creature comforts this car reminded me of the great luxury race of the early 2010’s the fact it has such low miles makes it even more of a treat. Sit back unwind and enjoy!

    I can't believe 2015 is considered "old"

    For me this is one of the best audis ever, it is even lighter than rs6/rs7 because of aluminium.

      That's crazy, and yes if you don't care about lap times it's got to be the best Audi sports car for the money and hopefully I can score a flooded or wrecked one next year

    I have a 2015 S8 in black with the same light grey / carbon fibre interior. It is Jekyll & Hyde in personality. Cruises comfortably, but give it the beans and it pushes you back in the seat. The best luxury/performance combination for the $$$ this side of a Bentley.

    I've been looking for a new car (well, new to me albeit being used) and have been checking options. I had a 2022 Mercedes C300 previously and I never really liked it even though it had every option available. I wish I had looked into Audi when I bought the Mercedes. But, now, I'll just keep looking for an Audi A8 now that I know they have more features and are actually better (I've been reading the owner reviews many former Mercedes owners switched to Audi and have reported greater reliability in their vehicles). Hopefully I can find as nice an A8 as you featured in this video.

    My car resents you calling it old. Fully loaded A6 3.0t with motorized blinds, heated/cooled seats, double pane glass, tech package etc. Cruise along in comfort or unleash the Stage 2 tune and watch people look for the Hellcat as the blower whine is noticeable. Not an S8, but an 11 second car with no special badging. A 2016 Audi has different more power MMI and USB/Micro SD slots.

    For those who own the 2015 Audi S8, do you have any vibration at 1K or 2.5K RPM? Dealership can't find anything wrong but it shakes horribly since 2018, *I bought it new in 2015 Would love to solve this! *have been told exhaust vibrations but no findings yet*

      Google “s8 d4 vibration flex pipe”, about $50 in parts off Amazon and an hour or two at an exhaust shop. Audi world forum has a thread. I’ve seen some guys also clamp the downpipes together. The flex pipe guy says it’s in the midpipes after the Downpipe that’s issue. I’m about to do mine too I have it at 1k and 2800

    this guy could pass for a high school student - I have an 2015 A8L 4.0T and love it - fast and this would S8 would be faster - in 2015 the S8 was NOT offered in the long wheelbase which my car has and my back seat passengers really like - Audi's are very expensive to repair if you get in a crash FYI.

      @@dnzry2218 I live in Germany for me it cost about 800 euro taxes and insurance together and I need about 20 euro a day for gasoline (20 km) and I do every 8000 km service that costs me about 800 euros for the small one and 1200 for the big one. Brakes change for rear and front U need every 2 years about 3000 euros

    • @kentryskamp9164

      I have had my 2016 S8 for about 8 months. Dealer quoted $3500 for complete front brakes ( I did it myself for about $1500 in parts), spark plugs about $900 and the list goes on! I was able to get a service contract for $1700 which covered all air filters, 2 oil changes, brake fluid flush and spark plugs plus other items over 2 services. Just an oil change is $200-$300! @@justascott

      9 year old car, insane to realize 15 was almost 10 years ago. Idk about you but 9 years is a little old Ik it’s not a classic. My favorite car Ive ever owned was a 1990 miata.

    • @OriginalFallofMind
      @OriginalFallofMind 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @calebdrury 1990 Miata yes that would be oldER 😆 Unfortunately it gets weird what younger gens calls old. You never think you will be that guy, but it happens. My older is like 60s 70s 80s and I don't consider myself old yet. People call stuff from my Era vintage/classic. I'm like damn. I thought vintage was like 1900.

    • @BrainFuck10
      @BrainFuck10 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@OriginalFallofMindinsecure much? He didn’t say it was old, he said it was “older” meaning used, out of warranty and fully depreciated, for reference a “new” S8 costs $100k more than one these “older” S8’s.
