if anyone here is a Taoqi main, I strongly recommend completing the questline that starts at the delivery service and then climb to the top of the floating building in the sea of flames after it is all done to get Dauntless Evernight a 4 star broadsword that has attack and defense main stats and a intro buff of attack and defense
Pull Jiyan banner to get Danjin, if you get Jiyan early then that's good if lose 50/50 then you are guaranteed Yinlin and if you didn't get gun early then you just build pity for Yinlin which is good
So the optimal strat is always pull on Jiyan Banner and skip weapon
has it been confirmed that the failure and pity carries over to next banner?

Me getting Calcharo in 10 pulls and Jiyan in 10 pulls: I am set to get Yinlin, LETS GOOOOOOOOO
I think yinlin is going to be better for the fact she’s coming second so I can get her weapon. BUT jiyan has a dragon and just looks cool so I need him
If you think about it, every character is subject to powercreep. So I'll just pull for Jiyan because I'll have the time of my life if I do get him. Frick the meta, but it's good to know why I'll have a hard time
This is the mentality you need to have first of all this is a gacha game every character including yinlin will get powercrept eventually so having fun must be our priority you can't race with powercreep if you are f2p anyway just have fun
@@metehanipek5100 ppl are a bit delulu in those terms since by the time most of the chars in every gacha game get powercrept u mostlikely will have insanely invested char and his team comp really.
I just want the red dress girl but got two five star, i got the guranted first and lost the next 50/50, it's just in 20 pulls, now i hesitate whether i should skip now or risk and continue trying to get this woman in red dress.

Taoqi will be very usefull in future when you do the abyss thing.
Give her a Bell-Borne Geochelone with Moonlit Clouds 5pc (2-piece set: Energy Regen is increased by 10% 5-piece set: After using Outro Skill, the ATK of the next Resonator is increased by 22.5% for 15 seconds) and you have a shield/buffer for when you cant use other units.
Also when her circular bar (on left side down) is full and you switch on other character, that character will get 38% Resonance Skill DMG for 14s.

I pulled E1S1 jiyan for the banner characters and because i like him a lot. I was curious your thoughts on the banners though.
Is 1 Danjin and 1 Mortefi enough? I got Calcharo from novice banner so gonna save for Yinlin. But wanna build another team with Danjin main dps.
mortefi at s4 is when he comes online and does really good and danjin is still good at s0 but i'd recommend aiming for s2

8:50 The pity does carry over between banners. It's written on the banner's desciption. So, yes, summoning on Jiyan's banner for the 4*s and saving the pity for Yinlin is probably the best plan for now.
Yinlin's weapon is also really good for Encore, since she does the bulk of her damage after her ult. (I've seen some calculations before, and I believe Yinlin's weapon did around 17 or 18% more damage than the standard 5* when equiped on Encore, which is a pretty good upgrade.)
In terms of being future proof... Any sub-dps with off-field damage should be able to take full advantage of it as well. And even for characters who can't take "full advantage" of if, it is still a big upgrade over the standard rectifiers, at least.
Whether or not it's worth going for it if it means missing out on future characters is a separate discussion, though. ^^;

Probably not a good idea... I mean, verina really doesn't need that crit rate stat or damage bonus, and while the higher attack would be apreciated, I feel like the extra ER and corcento energy from the 4* rectifier "variation" would probably be more helpful. Heck, even the 3* Recfier of Voyager is already pretty good...
I don't recommend going for 5* weapons for characters whose damage you don't care about. For a "pure" support, I believe the 4*s that give concerto energy might generally be a better pick, imo.

@@shaka2tu Verina's coordinated atatcks have a 1 second CD and a 5% ATK multiplier at base level. Also, the mark only lasts for 12s, and has a 25s CD. (So... Assuming you can continuously attack the enemy for 12 seconds without interruption, this is still only a total of 60% atk damage.)
Plus, unless you fully comit to a DPS build, you won't get as much damage from those multipliers when compared to an actual DPS.
(She does less damage during the whole mark duration than Calcharo can deal with a single normal attack hit.)
Look, I'm not saying that the Stringless rectifier is bad on her. It will probably do pretty well, if you can get her to 180% ER even without an ER weapon.
However... I think this looks like a lot of trouble to increase the DPS of a character who won't be contributing much on that front anyway.
Look, if you do get Yinlin, and have the resources to spare, go for it! Especially if you also use Encore, since you can double-dip and pass the weapon around depending on the team comp.
But pulling this weapon specifically for Verina?.... I mean, I can't stop you, but this feels like a huge waste when compared to pulling a new character or a weapon for your favorite DPS.
@@shaka2tu Ps: while I don't recommed getting a 5* specifically for Verina, if you are determined to do so, I believe the standard 5* rectifer will fit her better than the stringless.

This is exactly the info I was looking for. Some people have recommended pulling for Jiyan’s sword but I am planning on bringing F2P.
That's only if you got lucky and pulled calchiro or jiyan (in ten pulls)
this video is just simply wrong, because its not just a stat stick, the passive is way more than a 3% increase for calcharo idk what he was talking about.
We got free pulls therefore pray to get the 4 stars or get Jiyan early.

@@vidzorko4492 I did it anyways got Jiyan and then Encore in the same 10 pull so I'm guaranteed Yinlin now also somehow ended up with 6 Mortefi's and that was just with the stuff we got gifted
Anyways i pull for jiyan I don't care for meta i just enjoy the game don't listen everything he say every youtuber they just giving different opinions end of the last it only matter how you enjoy the game so just pick pull whatever you like and enjoy it and all the best😊
Personally I’m hesitant to pull Jiyan as he’ll more than likely get powercrept by future dps’s (looking at Diluc and Seele from Genshin and HSR). Not saying he won’t be able to clear endgame content in the future though.

@@frishter Fair enough. Then again we have Klee, the first limited dps who I’d say is really powercrept. Sure viable in abyss but I’d argue didn’t age so well.
Seele was meta for a long time to be fair and also jiyan is a very AOE focused character and right now end game is more boss focused so when there is new endgame focused around waves of enemies almost like spiral abyss then jiyan will go up in value alot where when pure fiction came out it did jack shit for seele
@@apleb7605 You can argue Klee was always worse than Bennet as far as on fielder go but that's unfair. But she did get powercreeped in 1.3 so she only got 3 patches before losing her slot as premium pyro dps.

Just to play devils advocate though, jiyan has a ton of multi hit in his combos which makes it actually super easy to use in boss fights no?? I find myself hitting the parry with little to no effort
i have calcharo and dont want jiyan i did 2 multis for the 4 stars and got both mortefei and 2 copies of danjin it was the best possible outcome for me now i can save for yinlin and maybe her weapon (i am still thinking about the weapon).

Recharges continuously whatever you play the game or not by 1 per 6 minutes.

I think many people that have decided to pull for Yinlin is doing so to pair her with Calcharo which is fine ofc. It's the best combo. What these CC's typically don't tell you however, is that while Calcharo is high damage, he is also one of the hardest characters to play to get that high damage and if you mess up his somewhat complicated rotation, your damage is going to be pretty mid.
If you want to challenge yourself or just like his style, then by all means go for it, but IMO going for a specific combo cause they have the best damage potential but you don't find it fun to play (because its going to require a good amount of skill to make it work) is probably not in your best interest.

yes, but challenge is what makes these games fun. As a genshin player im sick and tired of how easy everything is, it just feelings like a character collecting game and not a fighting game. with WuWa coming out I think Calcharo (and Danjin, by extension), are characters that reward you for learning how they are played and executing combos instead of button mashing. Nothing wrong with that, some people enjoy sitting back and letting the character be OP no matter their skill (and there are definitely characters in this game that allow you to do that). I’m just glad that there are characters that reward you for working hard and getting better at the game which is fun too. It might suck for the first few weeks bc skill issue, but slowly and surely the improvement would be fun. That’s why I’m mainly going for him, thats the type of stuff I find enjoyment out of :) skill is something you build with experience

Remember guys, at the end of the day, games are meant for having fun, meta is great, but the moment you become too competitive, you have to know that certain builds and end-game content are easier and some are only manage-able when you at least spend some of your money.
So please have fun~!! I wanted people to stop being hardcore min-maxing players while being F2P, as a lot of fandoms become more and more insufferable and toxic because of its fan base obsessed so much with high damage and start comparing and forget that this is ONLY a game and best thing you do when playing a game is having fun yourself without any influence from others.
Nah, I'll follow meta units then find a good comfortable units that I can play with. Quit genshin on first Baizhu banner then going back to genshin on Arlechino banner and still beat spiral abyss easily with the same usual lineups I used a lot Raiden, Zhongli, Nahida, Fischl & Kazuha, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett. Btw lose pity to Mona and immediately uninstall again 🥲
I think "stop being hardcore" is the most "hardcore" things gacha's community can said. People said "stop using meta", "u can using certain character", etc, while playing outside meta literally make the games harder in blatant way. 😂😂😂
I play around meta and min-maxing everything because i'm lazy u know, faster and easier clear make me run "CASUALLY" through daily/weekly content.
I'm tired of people telling me how i should play while boasting their self-proclaimed "casual way". For example, some dude on Arknights videos said, "Don't use meta, use everything u like." and proceed to showing example like "Abyssal Hunter's team comp". Bruh, Abyssal Hunter's is the one of the hardest team to play rn, it's like "Look i'm casual, i play with the hardest, time-consuming, and the most expensive team in Arknights".
It's happened in Genshin too, especially when talking around Xiangling and compared other pyro. "U must stop being 'meta' and try to build another else whose more easy to use". Bruh, Xiangling playstyle is just press the funny button and the rest is spin to win.
Sorry for ranting but i can't hold back after i saw your comment and in TenTen, literally a content creator with meta-themed content for 2-3 years. People come to this channel expecting the "hardcore" and "competitive" perspective, you know. 😂😂
Sorry, but after Genshin, the most toxic side of gacha's community came from the casual's side, not the hardcore's side.
what if i say i have fun in minmaxing and playing meta characters
like a perfect example is if i try to play a not so good character like chixia and i cannot kill enemies fast enough or like keep dying and stressing
thats not having fun
i would rather play someone like danjin to stomp on enemies as long as i dodge and parry well and keep her alive
it makes it so much satisfying and fun when u perfect dodge and parry everything and obliterate enemies

Its like you WANT people to have fun but whenever people like Meta as their fun, your fun for the game diminishes due to people enjoying a different way to play than you.
I play meta in games, Gacha or otherwise like Jrpgs, that i enjoy because its what i enjoy. We dont have to step on each others toes at ALL which is supposed to be the case. Until casuals start complaining about people learning advanced mechanics. Its quite simply ridiculous. Let me play how i want to play and you do the same. Yeah hot take. He is in fact very good on bosses too. His "problem" is that he does most of his damage during his ult and the downtime in between ults he may not be doing as much but hey, you have to swap to your other characters as well to keep your buffs up, so isn't really that big of a deal.
