But if we get interrupted BA1-3, we will go back, unless we dodge and that puts us straight into BA3. Guess that's why they are selling the Sequence 1... one thing I want to point out, as cool as the blindfold ult is, it's basically a sign you fucked up since her ult gives her full stacks so you might want to consume them before you ult
and her sneering at the camera when ult has a new meaning - she's looking at you and smirk at you fuck up.
jokes aside, I think its still cool to have different animation for it despite it being not optimal and not sweaty enough gameplay to hit every button correctly.

its kinda smart how sequence in this game remove skill issue instead of changeing the character play style. it let the whale have an incentive to whale, while dont force non spender to spent
While they don't change the characters play style all that much they definitely don't make the character easier to play (besides more damage or less cooldown), if you're bad at dodging or you don't swap characters for buffs you can have an s6 character and still be bad

I saved for Changli, ended up getting Jinhsi, still have some left, decided to save it and save some more to get Changli, realized Jinhsi's weapon options sucked, so tried to get the weapon early, got it kinda early at 40 pulls. So now I have just a tiny bit of pulls left for Changli and her weapon. Sooooo, I'm guessing if exploration and free pulls don't give me enough to get her and her weapon, I'll be spending. Coz I will not skip her. And I've already accepted my faith of spending again the next patch if Camellya realeases straight after Changli. You drive a hard bargain Kuro Games. You greedy greedy slimy bastards. I swear Camellya would be the last character I'll be spending on (aside from Phrolova). Curses.

Based on calcs the standard 5* sword is only 10% worse than her weapon which is a smaller difference than for the other characters like jinshi. If you have the standard sword I think its not really worth pulling jer weapon

This red sword could be Danjin's next BiS, considering how much she uses her e skill. Not sure if Jinhsi sig can be anyone else's BiS the same way. Best would be to wait until last days of 1.1 in case of "prophecies" revealing next featured 5stars and their weapons.

Ooof changli resonance skill is the one that she jump and does judgment cut right? Looking at the s1 sequence gives resistance to interruption on resonance skill, then that long resonance skill animation don't have any i-frame.....that's kinda concerning tbh especially if you have to emergency dodge on mid-air.

You're so good at making characters likeable by showing their appeal and explaining their kit, I've watched a lot of videos about Changli but you're the only one to convince me to pull for her 😭 wish I didn't watch this but you have a new subscriber
I am not F2P, so will be going for Changli, but this is definitely a good video to help those who are saving to choose which one they want to pull for. But I can see the issue you mentioned on Changli needing dupes to really make use of some of her kit. But will see how that goes with her S1 in terms of what you were speculating on it. I will at least be getting her and her weapon. I ended up just pushing thru the story so this was really helpful for you to showcase her kit. Appreciate the video, Tim!
Chang and Hsi both have so much future potential and that’s awesome - Chang can convert to a sub dps for a havoc unit later and Hsi can convert to a dual dps team with another burst dps that does coordinated attacks but both can play as hyper carry for now. Super cool.

How is she a sub dps? She has a 10-12s field time requirement with no off field presence.
Like for context, she needs higher field time than Jinhsi and almost similar FT as Jiyan.
Would you call Jiyan a sub dps if his outro happened to give aero dmg?
I planned to get Jinhsi from the start and got her, still need her weapon but I will wait for the 10x weapon rolls we will get soon to save on the astrite conversion. I think I will have enough to guarantee Changli , but unless I get lucky no weapon. I intend to get her, but also will keep an eye for drip marketing and leaks that could change my mind.

Fun fact: You can also use the Space Bar phoenix attack after the 4th or 5th basic attack on Changli. You can experiment a flashy combo with her space bar ability. An aerial combo perhaps.
I was planning on hard saving for camellya, but I did a few free pulls on the weapon banner and got Jinshi's weapon, so I had to get her as well obviously. I just hope I have enough for when she comes out now. Kuro please put her second half thanks.
ok so i wanna talk bout Changli.
base from this vid, the DODGE COUNTERS gives u free stacks. Switching to changli will start her basic attack at BA3 easier to reach BA5.
its not bec she continuing the basic attack sequence while she dodging, its bec the dodge counter giving her free stacks while she dodging. take a look everytime she dodge counter, she always hit a 3hit attack with a slam at the end which is a free stacks.
I am glad you brought it up because that's what I've heard but when I tested it, that is not the case.

@@TimaeuSS It's because Changli doesn't have a "BA5"; she only has a 4 hit combo (ie. BA4), and after the 4th hit she gains a stack of true sight, which enables what you are referring to as the "slam" on the next attack. True sight is preserved for 12s no matter the action, which is why it seems like dodging doesn't reset her attack sequence, but it's just coz her true sight is an independent part of kit tied to her resonance skill. Her dodge counter is visually identical to BA3, and puts her at BA4 afterwards (if she doesn't already have a true sight stack).

To be fair Jinshi is akin to an Arcon/Emanator in Genshin/HSR terms, its natural for her to be that broken, I feel like the next few characters wont reach her level, Cemellya may be an exception because we dont know much about her yet, its like Acheron in HSR and how she just completely powercrept the game, she is an Emanator
I think we will find that Cemellya is 100% gonna be a little stronger than Changli, but that said I am pulling both
i don't have solid reasoning for this but based on everything we know so far my intuition says camellya should be stronger she's havoc user afterall

Bruh what are you talking about? Acheron didn't get powercrept at all. Boothil is a single target break type dps and firefly is blast type break dps they are completely different from one another and have different type of weakness. @@minhtinh1211
@@minhtinh1211Acheron didn’t get power creeped just wait til the next patch when all the content doesn’t have firefly related buffs to make everything easy to clear on her. Also firefly best comp requires you do have a full team of limited units just to beat the basic acheron pela comps for cycles.
I think we shouldn’t really be comparing different element types since we will need to cover all elemental types anyways (espcially once they start adding monsters with multiple resists and/or immunities to certain elements)

I don’t really like pulling for pure DPS this early into gacha games. Very few patch 1.X DPS survive in the long run. Might pull Chungli simply because I like the whole 2 toned hair thing and her high octane combat animations. Might even skip both if the 1.2 banners have a good support on them
Man I just got linyang trying to go for jinshi, then I started the story quest and changli has me questioning myself. This is such a hard choice cuz I doubt I'll get enough wishes for both.
Isn't it weird tho that changli's weapon takes two skills just to buff the third? Wouldn't it make way more sense for it to buff heavy attack?

Their animations are incredible and that alone makes them look so fun. I have high hopes that Camellya's will be no different, so it's really hard to pick one.
That being said, I pulled for Arlecchino in Genshin and Boothill in HSR, so I feel obligated to get this game's resident black & white haired character too lmao
Camellya isn't going to come any time soon sadly, the 1.2 characters are both going to be male, and since Camellya hasn't had that big a role in the story you probably won't come until she actually does. Basically I'm saying you can pull for Jinhsi or Changli now and you'll be just fine by the time Camellya rolls around since you'll get lots more gems from future updates

I haven't even done over 40% exploration in any areas and I've skimmed a lot of side quests and I was still able to save enough to guarantee me Changli (when she comes) so I think if you wanted to get any of the 1.1 characters you would be able easily be able to get enough gems to guarantee them, and then you could get enough from completing exploration + whatever is coming in 1.2 to ensure you have enough for Camellya
In the end it's up to you, I don't want to seem like I'm forcing you to pull a 1.1 character, if you want to save then go ahead, I just feel there's enough gems around to ensure you'll get Camellya even if you decide to get a 1.1 character :)

changli: you forgot to note that she can easily do 2 forte casts. not only does she get full stacks upon intro, but she also gets full stacks after Liberation, so she is more than just forte, skill x2 swap out.
is it nice to see that getting true sight from basics isn't hindered by dodging, unlike calcharo during his ult (y he doesnt get a stack from dodge counter we will never know)
Calcharo get stacks kn dodge counter but only on 2nd Attack which is the dash, hopefully they rework on that cus his dps drops alot

It is annoying how much of Calcharo's kit feels scuffed. They even nerfed his QoL. Guess they wanted to make sure he would never compete with a limited 5 star dps. He still feels fun to play but you have to jump through a lot of hoops to overcome his limitations.
Even if she does less damage than alto I'm still gon pull for her because shes the ultimate waifu the boss of all waifus

I am more of a Ganyu Zhongli Albedo fan. Press E on Zhongli, E on Albedo then go to town with Ganyu charged attacks.
Instead of demolishing enemy with Raiden shogun ult then have nothing up for next fight. 😂

I feel Changli seems more like a Ganyu. You can just stay on her and still build her forte gauge.
She seems to have a more flexible rotation. She can just keep attacking and maybe Verina can come in for heals.
I might play Changli, Verina and Yinlin. Some constant coord from Yinlin, Changli being main dps. Seems like a mighty good team.
I'm still waiting for Zhongli in this game. My friend told me the Zhongli in this game is Jianxin.

From the leaks I have seen the standard 5 star crit rate sword is only a 12 to 15% difference, at s1. You will probally end up with more copies of it eventually. Not pulling s1 and s2 just for 10% increased damage and 25% crit rate. Yea its nice, but that by no means is game changing for her kit. Its just a luxury. I think your exaggerating a bit , if you settled for the standard 5 star sword for Jinshi there is still a 12 to 18% drop off, soo same thing really.
In the 5* Standard - Weapon banner there's no eventually, you just choose which weapon you want to get, which is awesone.
BUT 12-15% better is considering you can get equal crit ratio without the weapon, which is a much harder task than people think (I mean not getting just OK stats, but getting actually good stats).
But yes it is a luxury.

@@mariandumitru4469 I think sub dps is just a very misleading term. Usually a sub dps doesnt do the majority of your teams damage which Changli will be doing most of her teams damage. Rather shes a short rotation main DPS, just like Jinhsi.
i heard taoqi would be a good pair for quick swap style but i saw nothing in this video that would suggest taoqi is any better than anyone else

She won´t be in 1.2, which got confirmed by reliable leaker via audio snippets of the upcoming 2 characters just a few hours ago. So we got a lot of time to save or even take a shot at Jinhsi, Changli or those amazing weapons! :)
Kuro also gives us 92 F2P pulls overall in 1.1. If we take that as our future average, we will have around 180 pulls starting 1.3
( Maybe even more cuz on Kuro´s website, it is currently stated that the 1.2 maintenance will be on august 15, which would mean that 1.1 will have 7 instead of the usual 6 weeks, granting us even more astrites to save for our ivy queen )

Not F2P here, but a massive Camellya simp. I was certain Changli would tempt away some of my Asterite, but having given her a light test run in the story chapter, I might be a ok just skipping this whole patch entirely. We'll see. I'll have a massive bank by the time she gets here.

I watched basically every video you released in regards to Nikke, so I already know you don't bother lying about the early stuff allowed for you to test out.
I"m gonna skip both Jinhsi, and Changli. I"m going to aim towards Camellya in the future. I want not just her and her weapon, I want to force getting her to bare minimum S1 at the least I could do to get her.
someone plays other gacha games even support will get bumped off its nature of these games sadly, in HSR loucha has been such amazing sustain unit all of 1.0 and up content has fallen so far in 2.0 and up content, just better options, buffers they eventually drop off, if Camellya is "Ruan Mei" type unit then she be okay, but if she is like bronya unit she will fall off eventually, so time can tell. Personally since game is more action game ill will use everyone in Genshin i still use a lot of older units I'm find in most of content and still do well in Abyss even with old units, just take bit longer.

Guys I got jinhsi with 30 pulls and I wanted to go for changli also but camellya is my favorite looking forward, am I able to get jinshis weapon and then save the rest to get camellya? (skipping changli of course)

I got Yinlin S6 so I feel like Jinhsi is auto get at least s0. And of course I lose my 50/50 to Calcharo. 🤪 Ended up wanting to S2 her so lost another 50/50 to Calcharo. -_- Better than a 3rd Encore but still… saving my choice banners until after these next 2 beauties. Too pretty to skip.
I might skip Changli with that 50/50 losses and only pull her weapon. It's cute to see it sheathed in white and then red when swung. The weapon doesn't seem to show off on her unless you're swinging in air. Is it just me or does it look like she's pimp slapping enemies when on ground weapon not showing except for a split second.
pre-released ppl said shes a sub dps and jinhsi is a main dps, but the way i see their kit now, its the opposite. Still love em both anyway.
I hope Camellya can do coordinated attack and buff skill dmg next character, that would be insane
Based on pre-1.0 info, she is an on-fielder with stacks mechanics, grapple heavy attack, and stance/appearance change. Similar to the main quest short fight scene.

As much as I loved that interaction with Camellya, I'm not a fan of playing as Poison Ivy style.
I'm already conflicted on whether to pull for Jinhsi or Changli..

Well both the 1.2 characters banners will be male (not 100% sure both but leakers have found some pretty solid evidence for at least 1) so you might want to consider that
