Bahut achha batsman tha fearless ❤❤viru i think he only struggled against chaminda vass and shaun pollack correct me if i am wrong love your videos btw..
Shewag was a dangerous player in Test cricket .,like Kevin Peterson. But he was also inconsistent and doesnt have a great away record. Three of his best inns 1.Multan 309 2. MCG 195 3.Galle 201
Sehwag has been glorified way beyond the litmus of truth in the last 5 years. He was a very ordinary batsman, extremely inconsistent, unreliable and mostly a sub continent bully. He was entertaining yes, especially in an era where every other batsman played by the book, but that does not mean he was successful. He was at best the Kris Srikanth of the 2000s. His weakness against early inswing was known to most fast bowlers, and every guy that grew up watching cricket in 2000s knew he wouldn't last the first 5 overs in Australia, England or South Africa. His stats are bloated because when he scored, he scored big. In ODIs he was even more mediocre, and anyone would agree he wouldn't find a spot in the modern ODI team. He was there just because there was no one better. His frequent ousters from the team after 2006 are testimony to his inconsistency. Moreover, he was highly anticipated to excel at T20s as he had the game for it, but he just didn't. Tendulkar has better IPL stats than him. Don't know why he's lately being put on a platform that he doesn't deserve.
Did you see his 201 in Galle where he carried the bat? There are a dozen or more examples like this where he outperformed nearly everyone in both teams in a test anywhere in the world including being five runs short of his third triple century. Every bowler from his generation said they hated bowling to him. So wait, you know more and must be right?
@@RakeshMisra-oc2tj just because someone is a great doesn't mean I have to agree with their opinions. Besides anyone that's comparing him to Sachin is simply a dimwit. You're welcome to counter my statements with stats, and not opinions.
@@mochan8447 only further establishing my point, because last I checked Galle was in sub continent and his "5 runs short of triple century" was in pakistan, again sub continent. He was simply a home track bully (mainly India, pakistan and sri lanka) where fast bowlers had nothing for themselves. What are his stats on the 2002 and 2011 England tours, 2005 and 2009 New Zealand tours, 2006 and 2011 South Africa tours? Didn't get past the first 10 overs throughout the entire series, forget about carrying bats. A test average of 20 in New Zealand, 27 in England, 25 in South Africa and wallah you have a great! An ODI average of 35 and a massive failure in IPL. Next time you counter an online statement, bring stats, not one off incidents. Then again I don't wanna argue with covid kids on test cricket.

It means - Iyan Chapel, Sunil Gawaskar, Imraan Khan, Kapildev - alls are wrong and fools.
According to them Sehwaag was as great as Sachin.
