Hot Coca Cola and Mentos Experiment - Minnesota Cold (Part 27)

We wanted to try an experiment to see what would happen if you put Mentos in hot Diet Coke while outside in the extreme cold. It took a few different attempts, but here's what happened.
It has a similar reaction to other experiment: Coca Cola and Mentos, Diet Coke and Mentos, Mentos vs. Coke, or Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Coke, Fanta, Sprite, 7-Up and other Coca Cola vs mentos experiments. Also similar to other soda and mentos science experiments reaction.

My science teacher did this experiment in 6th grade. Cold coca cola and mentos will only go a few inches high but hot coca cola and mentos go many meters high.
