As I mentioned above, ordered Jay's books on audible. Haven't yet listened to the second, but wow - absolutely outstanding. I really can't recommend it enough.
Only in the last few years have I noticed that my relationships are rarely reciprocal or balanced. I see it stemming from childhood with narcissistic parents. It makes me feel sad.
Hi Jay, I ordered both of your books on audible after listening to the first. It showed up on my 'recommended" list and it was on sale. Wow - absolutely first rate. You're a very good writer, the production is excellent, and the content is leaps and bound beyond anything I've ever read or heard. Thank you so much for your work. I'm wondering if you can touch on the topic that Emma Katz approaches on her substack - she compares victims of coercive control to prisoners of war. This is the truth for children of narcissistic abusers - especially scapegoats, a role which we know continues well into adulthood and never seems to end inside that system and beyond where the influence exists. Thank you Jay. You get it. Emma Katz is an expert on coercive control - maybe you can see the connections. They certainly exist.
Thank you sir for the valuable video.. Is this video applicable to trauma bonded adult also who is not narcissistic? Or trauma bonded never ends? Pls do reply

I'm always amazed by your ability to put the scapegoated person's experience into words.
