Perfect soft field. Elevator up reducing weight on front wheel. Using rudder to assist turning instead of putting pressure on wheel.

Not a 300 Check the bump on the front of the cowling. Looks like a constant speed prop. My guess is a 180

Doesn't sound like a O-300 to me, as I'm thinking of a larger STC'ed engine in it.

O-300 has 2 exhaust stacks. Pre 1968. That is a Lycoming.
