I bought plenty of 4x4 and 2x4 already so I was glad to see in your video thats what I needed. Installing tomorrow. Thanks for the video. I have total confidence now.
I'm doing my 2010. Was a nightmare to get all the mounts off (13 Canadian winters!) I am at the jacking up point but the frame is also lifting. I have all the bolts off one side! Any ideas?

Have a 2012 Oscar Mike with bald 35" tires and had a friend give me his stock Rubicon wheel and Tire take offs (33").... Dislike the gap with the 33's don't mind lowing the Jeep back for fit appearance. My question is can I reuse the bolts or will I have to locate stock bolts once I remove the spacers?... Just want to be prepared before tear down. Thank you!!!
I think that would be a good combo. The 1.25” body lift will be more of a cosmetic change. If you want better off-road performance I’d go with either a leveling kit or suspension lift. That will actually lift the suspension higher. The body lift simply lifts the body off the frame and will make more room in the wheel wells for the bigger tire. 33s aren’t much bigger then stock so they are a safe choice.
I have 2016 jku on 33’s no lift for a few years and have no problems. I also wheel my Jeep on the weekends. But this body lift might be nice because I’m going to 35”s
Hi Steve, couple of questions please, did you need to extend any wires or brake lines etc? What about the radiator and hoses did you need to relocate or modify? I've seen other brands of cars and they had complications with gearbox levers, radiator mounts etc. What it seems to be like in your video is new spacers and no other mods.
I did this with an older, much older jeep and I like the look alot. Not having some of the frame showing and other parts makes me think it looks a whole lot like just a passenger car. I now have a new jeep and I want to do the same thing. I am concerned that an 1 1/4 off my floor mounted automatic shift leaver will make it pretty stumpy. Do you have an automatic and how it it now?
eliel hernandez I had no issues afterwards. The only thing that could be an issue would be if you had a manual transmission. Then you would need an extender.

Looks good, I'm doing the same thing with my 392 extreme recon, and I like the gap between the frame, easier to clean after mudding.

I got 35’s on my rubicon with 2.5”-3” suspension lift I’m putting 37’s on it an I wanna do 1.25” body lift
Was there any issue with the transmission shifter & 4wd shifter I didn’t hear any mentions of needing extensions or anything
That would only be an issue if you had a manual transmission. Automatic is on a cable and won’t be affected

I’m pretty sure you’ll need to get stock bolts. You could probably find them on quadratec or extreme terrain.

3:58 I had to cut the boards a little longer, every time I cut something it gets shorter.

I did not need to modify anything. The only issue would be if you have a manual. Then you’d need an extender for the shifter.

The shifter on the automatic JK is on a cable so it didn’t affect it at all. It’s the exact same. It would only be an issue on a manual.
