The average size of the bluegills in this episode was crazy. The gyro recipe is just on another level. If you don't own pinks, The Frozen Kitchen, you're missing out. Another well-done episode.

Great video. I notice you use Mega Live searching but then jump to the Vexilar to catch. Is that because of a concern with FFS affecting fish behavior, or is it just easier to pull the transducer out when you hook up?
Lots of reasons.
1) FFS Transducer frequency makes fish weary, Vexilar FLX-30 has Low Power and Medium Power modes.
2) Way easier to pull ducer.
3) Vexilar is significantly more mobile and efficient.
4) Vexilar Flasher is real time sonar. Live has a slight delay.

OT county is tremendous. Damn near $1,000 for a one man house. What has the world come to. A buddy and i bought 2 yukon XT houses with the trap link 20 years ago for the same price at the St Paul show.
What spinning reels do you guys run?
We’ve been using the Katana and Tatsumi the past year, they’ve been really good! Otherwise the Shimano Sienna is a staple.
U need to bump board those gills! They are almost more impressive that than big crappies. Doesnt get much better than a 10" gill!
