Couple of things I would recommend, Get a Victron BMV gauge it's just the best A lithium upgrade might be a good option? Move the negative onto the other battery to draw them down evenly.

Great vid guys. It’s not obvious from the vid but you should make sure the main feeds are pos from one battery and neg from the other. Insures equal draw and charge from the parallel battery set up.
Connect a resistor in between instead to charge those capacitors, spark is a sign that a huge amount of current is traveling in those wires. If you're unlucky you could damage sensitive and expensive components this way.
Just run the engine whilst you have a big draw off the batteries from the inverter, if you are wiring this up with a relay from starter battery/alternator. 👍

Do you have a step by step video showing how to set the DCDC up to the Kings 12v box? I’ve been looking at the instructions for the dcdc and it says to earth the black wire to the car but then the kings video says to connect to the box. I just don’t want to do it wrong. If you had a vid or step by step document that would be awesome. Thanks heaps for any help!
Good thing the whole potato potarto thing with the shovel and spade talk is that a shovel and spade are 2 different tools and not the same thing with multiple names
@@bradnewman1459 Yeah, it seems counter intuitive, but there is no reason why there should be less ventilation down there unless you seal the floor over it - it will also be the coolest part of the canopy and the canopy base is a nice massive heat sink that would really help the inverter and BCDC keep cool - the ply they attached these to are thermal insulators and the wrong thing for heat dissipation from there units.
Boys that cable is rated at 292amp and you sick a 300 fuse on it. You need one under the rating of the wire for it to be able to do is job. Otherwise your cable will sit itself before the fuse which = fire plus old mate removing those fuses off that switch panel just removed your protection for each switch. Guys you need to understand what you're doing before you take on such a job.

better off doing a 24 volt bat on 12 volts you can over volt on amperage note if the vehicles battery is 24 volt you are going to your 12 volt agms..
Nice! Why not raise the "wood" by a couple of inches and fit the inverter and other electrical bits under the floor?
