One of the thing i love being a Filipino, we sometimes rant and complain whenever we have a bad days at work but we never forget how to laugh, workmates are not just workmates, they are also friends. That's make the atmosphere lighter despite of all the work load that we had (this does not include a very miserable work condition and toxic bosses). There are toxic environment but at the end of the day, camaraderie in work is something else. I'm already working somewhere but my former workmates are still my friends.

I just came from a 2 week vacation from Japan, then stumble upon your vlog. I noticed how soo different Japanese workplace from Filipino workplace. In a Japanese workplace you are expected to blend in and not stand out, almost not having personality so to speak. You cannot voice out on your boss and you are expected to work harder and harder… In the Philippines, Fun and Family like culture is encouraged and is important in the work place. You are encouraged to be yourself, work and having fun is allowed in the office. Keep uploading Shotaro! Hope you stay longer here!
The reason they always give you free food because you smile all the time. Wherever you go in the philippines you will never go hungry even without money because your smile makes them feed you. It seems like it makes them happier to see you eat hahaha.

Ine thing i know in Japan, level of stress on living is extremely high that they vanish in thin air, they go up in the killing ground Mountain camp and never come back, rhe place to live is so small like living in a box and is cost of living is very expensive. People dont talk with each other much more smile especially to strangers. In Philippines even with strangers you can open your problems and they will console you with moral support. In most of tge countries that is very strange to do to ipen up whats goin on with your life. Filipinis prefer to be just happy and chill and dont kill themselves because of personal problems. Thats the difference.

To mingle with the locals is much easier to do in the Philippines. Filipinos love foreign people in the way that they find people from other countries interesting. They will always try to initiate a conversation to know something about a person. But here in Japan, I think its a little bit hard.
