In Filipino culture, its a privilege/pride for a family to treat a visitor specially foreigner...it's rude if you turn their offer. They can even let you stay for the night if it needs be and im sure they will offer the best bed in the house...that's Filipino culture 😎

Every country has dangerous places, but the difference is that in the Philippines, most people will care for you even if you are a stranger or foreigner to them. Yeah, there are Filipinos who are bad, criminals, etc., but it is less than everyone thinks. Even though the locals will always say, "Take care!" to everyone, it doesn't mean that the place is already dangerous; it is just how they express their concern to people around them. Sometimes it is another way of them saying goodbye to you.

Our country was a bunch of isolated islands and back in the day even people from the south could never even see people from the north. And because of the long and tedious travel it takes to go from one place to another the people of the islands have developed a sense of welcoming and caring for someone who has made such a great effort to come to their place. It's become part of the people's culture to treat strangers nicely and give them some accommodations no matter how small it may be, especially if you come from another country. Even today it takes several hours by plane to come to the islands from another country. This has turned into the world renowned Filipino hospitality

Just finished watching all your videos, Subscribed!, you need to upload more and more, Enjoy your staying here, try going to some provinces near manila and try each of their special local foods available specifically in those place only. Tip: the best time you should go to a province/city is when their is Fiesta(annual event/celebration in a specified location) We call it “fiesta” - a party where everyone is invited to join! Every barrio, town, province, city has their own fiesta to celebrate once a year. So for sure there's always fiesta going on somewhere around the country. Rain or shine, good times or bad, it's unstoppable... the fiesta must go on!

We are very friendly and loud, but I guess you've already observed that . Just make friends (the good ones...there is always good and bad apples) and you'll never be alone and lonely here in the Philippines. Trust me that we are the easiest people to make friends and have a good relationships with.

That is the only good side for Filipino they are very hospitable and never neglects a foreigner as long as they are in good spirit. Please be careful roaming around at night in solos because you could not expect that something might happen to you. Good thing you're in good neighborhood. My wife is a teacher in a institution that teaches English to Koreans and Japanese and Japanese are very respectful and honest and very shy especially girls. @@shotaroinph My fellow Filipinos regardless which country you're from are very welcoming and very nosy😭😂🤭 , which is the exact opposite of the Japanese. We are very friendly and loud, but I guess you've already observed that . Just make friends (the good ones...there is always good and bad apples) and you'll never be alone and lonely here in the Philippines. Trust me that we are the easiest people to make friends and have a good relationships with.
