I highly recommend dandadan its one of the few recent manga that have genuinely made me laugh but the action and story side of things is also pretty promising. All in all im finding it super enjoyable.
Couldn't agree more! Dandadan is one of my favorites as of late and I've been keeping up with it on the Shonen Jump app! Love how it blends sci-fi and supernatural, how quirky and fun it is, and it's made me laugh out loud also! Can't wait to collect it physically this year as well!

The Gachiakuta recommendation was unexpected since it's so new, but it definitely holds so much promise. Once it comes over here I'm definitely keeping up with the volumes.

I've read some stuff from this list and now I know for sure that you have a pretty refined taste. Definitely will give a shot to most of your recommendations from this video! I like how it's not mainstream titles recommendations, but we can look at some hidden gems that are not yet that much popular. I hope we'll have more of this type of videos in the future as well.

Man, had to add them!! Two are new favorites and Grand Blue is one of my top manga of all time. Cool to hear that you enjoy them too! Liar Satsuki Can See Death is an enjoyable read so far. Love horror and supernatural stories and this one has a ton of potential. Leviathan is phenomenal. Art, story, characters, everything about it I absolutely love. Awesome to hear that you are going to check them out and I hope you enjoy them!

This video goes hand in hand with Sufferents' Manga Guide video for me. Brutal and Rebuild World are works I hadn't heard of but will definitely be checking out in the near future. As for what I'm reading at the moment, Call of the Night, Blue Box, and Gachiakuta; and although they're finished already, I just started Blue Spring Ride and Orange

I recommend colorless. There is one physical volume out right now. It’s a great sci-fi manga.

I’ve stated Dai Dark by Q Hayashida and ohhhh my goodness it has been a treat. Loved it! Def going to check out some of the ones you’ve been reading as well!
Oh I see a few I have on my list to start going to bump them to the top of the list now. If I could recommend anything it's The Witch and the Beast. It's got an amazing story, characters, and the art is stunning. It's a dark fantasy manga it has 8 volumes currently in english. I can not stress it enough how amazing it is lol.

I love Mieruko-chan, the anime is fun as well. Glad to see you are enjoying Brutal, I'm a big horror fan and enjoy that one a lot, hope to get an English release as well. Currently enjoying Shibuya Goldfish and recently picked up Highschool of the Dead Omni's in full color, can't wait to open those up and start reading.

I recently picked up all of the reprints of the Original Alita battle angel manga, the story is amazing so far. I feel like a donkey not reading this series alot earlier.

Another great rec video. I'm not too into comedies, but Eminence in Shadow sounds intriguing; plus I'm always up for a charismatic lead. Gachiakuta looks beautiful. Mieruko-chan was a surprise hit last season (anime-wise), so I'm sure the manga is just as good. Brutal: Satsujin Keisatsukan no Kokuhaku looks entertaining as hell and finally Rebuild World surprised me with its detailed art!
I can't recommend anything to you because I watched your collection videos and not only do you own most of my favorite manga, but you even have my favorite one (Gundam: The Origin). However, I can at least ask if you've checked out Classroom of the Elite, Heart Gear and Junji Ito's No Longer Human. The first one has an insanely entertaining protagonist/premise, Heart Gear I love the atmosphere and finally NLH is one of the few Junji Ito's works that isn't strictly horror.

I feel the same way. Definitely one of my favorites as of late! And oh man, I know!! It's one that's genuinely kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat. I think it's only a matter of time for this one, but I can't wait to own it physically either!

Hey Christin, you should look up Until Death Do Us Part. The art is so great and it's such an underrated series. If you like detailed art that goes more in the direction of a Yusuke Murata and such, definetely check it out :)

Hi, really cool video! In case someone is interested, here are also some reads I really liked:
- I’m standing on a Million lives
- Kumo Desu ga nanika?
- Record of the mystic Gardens (Manwha)
- Kiruru kill Me (Love comedy)
- Ragna Crimson
- Deatte 5 de Battle
- Murim Login (Manwha)
I should mention, that I tend to like action and smart thinking anime, with integrated comedy which is reflected in most of the recommendations here. Kiruru Kill me is an real exception to me, because it is a love comedy, but I thought it just way to hilarious, to leave it out here.
Record of Mythic Gardens is my special hidden gem recommendation, because the world building is insane, the characters are amazing and the art style is uniquely beautiful. Sadly I believe many people get turned of, by the art style and because they don’t understand the story, when reading it for the first time, but I assure you, there is a story there and it is amazing! One of the things, that made me love this manwha, was partially, that I could read it again and again and again, but realizing really interesting things about the characters or the story each and every time.
Try Ayashimon, and the Kajiki Chef. They're both very fun.
Right now I’m reading Oshi no Ko, Sakamoto Days and Blue Box. Oshi no Ko’s recent chapters have been amazing recently, Sakamoto Days consistently has some of the best art and fight scenes I’ve seen from a manga and Blue Box is just way too good for a romance sports manga. Blue Box had no right being as engaging and entertaining as it is.

Man, it is. It definitely deserves it! Really hoping it gets a print release soon.
Me either to me, digital is buying a promise that someone can take and delete that's why I like physical.
I see your point and I also prefer to read physical books. However, digital enables the artist to go beyond the limitations of the physical copies, which can lead to incredible results.
Take a look on leaviathan, for example. In the very beginning of the story you have this almost endless panel that goes from the surface of the ocean to its rock bottom, it looks fantastic and scrolling through it is very immersive.
I had heard about a manga about trash monsters lol but never knew what it was. I'll definitely give Gachiakuta a shot now. My manga recommendation is How Heavy Are the Dumbbells you Lift?. It's about a girl signing up for a gym membership and learning about weightlifting. Funny and ecchi moments aplenty 😂😂😂

I'm new to the channel, so I'm not sure if you've already read it but everyone should check out The Fable. I recently picked it up and couldnt set it down,
I recommend "Rebuild world" as well. The tone is a bit more mature than most shonen manga, and the protagonist, for once, isn't the typical well meaning, naive, always upbeat protagonist. That said, there are only about 32 chaptuers so far.
Undead x Unluck is becoming one of my new favorites now! It has a very interesting power system, funny yet emotional characters, and the art is really nice. Highly recommend
I read the first few volumes of Undead Unluck and thought it was interesting, but put it on hold for some reason. After hearing this, I need to get back into it! Awesome to hear that it's one of your new favorites.

I ended up doing the same thing with learning Japanese! I would love to see a reprint of Domu and an English release of Brutal would be amazing too. It's really underrated for how good it is. Here's hoping we get both someday!

Please give a read to Montage by Watanabe Jun, it's a lesser known psychological thriller seinen manga, it is a fictionalised version of the 300 million yen hiest unsolved case in Japan from 1968.
