Gotta agree with this. for the last years login in an mmo felt like a chore, just a long list of things to do which leave little room to just do what you feel like at that moment. Yes yes i know,no one is forcing you....but these systems like dailies, weeklies, etc, etc just make that voice in your head a little louder. it use to be that you logged in with no idea what you were doing, maybe exploring...farming or crafting or maybe just chillout with friends and screw around,i miss those days.
Your the only one who has taken the time to show everything what, where, and how thank you as I was getting tired of haven to watch 37 different videos to learn how to do everything. Always love watching soul and we both are paladins!
1:25 Glad to see I'm not the only one gettng the " has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI". Most of my addons have thrown this error at some point and require reload before I can do anything else. So annoying.
This video reminds me of the oldschool vintage soul videos. You had aome of the very best guides in that era. By far. This brought some ofbthose feels. Epic ❤ Have fun! Stay Breezy /Grayz with the Rogues
Thank you very much for this Soul!!! I love these breakdown videos like this that you do. I helps so much when it comes to plan out the week/day so I can get what I want done. Keep up the great work!!!
My biggest disappointment with DF is that although some renown rewards are account-wide, the rep grind itself is still per-character so you need to re-grind everything on any character you need renown milestones on and unless you go hardcore on reps on one character to unlock rep boosts for alts, your alts will be grinding rep at normal speed most of the time too.
I see where you're coming from. But if you're suggesting account wide rep, it would probably have to consider people having lots of alts to try and game the system like switching betwen alts to clear out the campaigns or weekly quests multiple times. That'd mean the game would have to do weird things like only give rep rewards once on the account. Right now people can run multiple accounts on the same battle.net account which opens up tons of potential issues that'd need to be protected; imagine (legit) multiboxers farming rares and getting 5x rep just because they're towing characters with them. Should only one account be allowed to be logged on at a time going forward? For the sake of rep? I think overall it'd turn out to be a big technical hurdle devs and mostly confusing for players - it's not worth the effort for what we'd get.
@@SoulSoBreezy Since the whole point of account-wide rep is to eliminate the repeat grinds, I'd just make all rep rewards one-time deals for all applicable accounts. Your first character turns a quest that awards account-wide stuff, all others get "You have already completed this quest." Your first character loots bind-on-account stuff, it gets taken out of the loot table for all your other characters. Your grind would still be 1X speed no matter how many multi-box same-account characters you play. Though you could grind at n-times speed by having each simultaneous account grind different areas and quest lines.
I also see where you’re coming from on the per-character rep grind. I suppose for those who want to collect some of the cooler cosmetics or gear pieces, it may feel a bit tedious… I’ve ventured on to my second alt, and after doing probably 1/3-1/2 of what my main did in the Ohn’aran Plains, I was matched with my first character (renown 11). With the worthy ally buff, 100% additional reputation gains really make it fly by. I can only imagine how quick it will feel when you have the renown 20 buff for your account. It really does require a balance when it comes to deciding what progress should be 1 to 1 across characters. We’re only on week 2, so I can’t say for sure how I feel. But being an extreme altoholic, I’m sure I’ll have a stronger opinion one way or the other in a month or two.
I leveled to 70 geared my monk for PVP did some world pvp and then I started leveling another character. It's so nice to be able to play alts without being punished.
wait, you're supposed to get (lesser) repeat rewards for doing the tuskarr feasts even after completing the weekly quest?! I'm getting screwed over! ...maybe that's why Tuskarr is my lowest renown?
that's how it is with all the reps, the first turn in gives the bigger ding, but then repeatable dings are lesser so that you have a harder time no life-ing it.
@@ForOne814 theres 3 zones . One is a big city . Shadowlands had 4 zones . Idk they just seem small compared to shadowlands It's a good expansion. Way better than shadowlands. Just wish the zones were bigger
I have no idea what half of the things in the video are, my highest renown is 5 or so and the others are around 3. I have been playing this game for 14 years i have no idea what to do, i just hit 70, got full pvp gear, knocked out all m0s and levelled my first alt. There are people running around when i go do my pvp wq and i have no idea what are they doing, but somehow we are all having fun. Its strange in ridiculous kind of way.
no reason to rush, by all means enjoy the journey, personally i dont think that i myself will be doing threads this time around, i enjoyed Story Mode and it was glorious when doing the Bronze arc, you will LOVE that when you get there.
i kinda like that the WQs are Bi-Weekly, it means that you dont have to fixate all your free time to one character if you dont want to, so i wont... instead i'm gonna hop on my alts and get them going.
Well organized breakdown. These kinds of activities are typically a chore, but I haven't had any reason to complain about this expansion so far. Everything has been great..unfortunately the end game is always a daily faction grind and gear/rep envy.
It's just cause it's new my dude, "These kinds of activities are typically a chore, but I haven't had any reason to complain about this expansion so far" said the exact same thing at the start of shadowlands and at the start of bfa and at the start of legion xD I know you may feel this way now but just give it a few months and come back to this comment would be interesting to see if you feel the same.
sadly this is the crux of WoW itself, but at least as far as story goes, we're only seeing Chapter 1 here, the other chapters will come in future patches, which tbh i'm happy with what they did so far, especially that last chunk of the Bronze Dragonflight arc, that was insanely lit.
@@Brux1425 If someone ends up feeling that way after the expansion is been out for awhile, then it's probably just best to conclude that they are just burnt out on WOW and it's time to move to another game....Doesn't mean WOW is bad, just that they should probably be playing a different game because WOW just isn't for them...
@@Smellycarl Depends! If you're a solo pve player not involved in organised content, ah & stuff then yes, there's no fomo for you... even when expansion ends. Just an fyi, season has begun & guilds are already locking slots for eligible raiders. And this cap would only keep increasing so there's hardly any room for slacking off.
I'm happy that this expansion is a bit more "casual friendly" - I just don't have the time to play much anymore, on average maybe 8 hours a week. With everything I've seen so far I'm definitely excited to play, but I don't feel like I'm being punished for not sacrificing the rest of my life to play as much as possible
From my observations I'm not so sure. They behave similarly to gathering nodes as in after one person loots it there's a short time before it disappears. And it's got a slower respawn timer. I think there're just more people digging up garbage.
Farming routines are the reason why people feel exhausted after 2month and cry in the forums
Then ppl are wrong in an MMO
I love a good routine.
Then don't play the game 12 hours a day 7 days a week
