I would love to see a behind the scenes of the filming of these videos. "Stop the truck, run ahead 50 yards and set up the camera, run back to the truck, drive by the camera, stop the truck again to run back and pick up the camera, run back to the truck, repeat until reaching the campsite" Speed it up and set it to the Benny Hill music. That would be hilarious!

If I were out there I would turn the spotlights outward when I slept to illuminate the area. But that’s just me. I never tire of ur gadgets n ur ways if these trips. They r just wonderful !

Pretty sure I’ve seen you use the first tent before. Something seriously failed in the roof. I just wonder where you took it in the forest. That did make me chuckle. Love the new awning. Seeing lots of van life people here in the UK using them now. When we camped with our land rover discovery I would have loved one on her.

Thanks Fish13. Watching you from Western Australia. We too love camping 🏕️ but our climate doesn’t allow it in summer as it can get to 41 degrees celcius and over so tenting is unbearable during our summer months but we don’t mind winter or the best times of the year Autumn and Spring. Of course we like everyone else love all your nifty camping gear and flash little gadgets. We try to keep it simple sometimes but also like being really comfortable so everything comes with including the kitchen sink. (As such).
What are some good spots in W.A? My uncle lives in Singleton. But I’m over here in Japan. One day would love to go camping there when I visit him

Even bad weather doesn't stop Mr. Fish from camping. What you still need , as can be seen with the chicken wing crumbs, a vacuum cleaner and a small compressor if you want to inflate a pillow or air mattress.

There is a 2 or 2.5 KVA Inverter and 150Ah battery additionally placed in the boot. Which powers these things. The output of it is located in the boot door run through cables via the hinge.
Think the power to the inverter setup must be from the Aux power port from car's alternator.

Also doesn't the Defender have any kind of air compressor, so you could just pressurize the water container?
