Haven't regularly played at the Horseshoe in Hammond for quite awhile but they would do "play overs" there. They didn't use a box. They would rack up the player's chips & put an upside rack over the rack or each rack.
As a an up and coming poker player and huge college football fan you’re really giving me something to strive for in the short term my man. Any advice as to how you manage the swings while handling a lot of overhead traveling and going to these games all the time would be greatly appreciated
hey pat! glad you enjoy my content! it’s a tough balance with traveling and buying tickets/food. but it’s what drives me and makes me happy so i happily pay for it. the swings in the short term suck but just gotta budget and save up the $ to get you through the downswings. if you ever want to hit a college game together next year hmu on insta
Hey bro, great content, I enjoy your videos. Playing over someone has always existed, think of it pre-cardroom when there may only be one table running, and you’ve got a list of people wanting to play. A guy would get up to go to dinner, but not want to give up his seat so the next man on the list could have the option of playing over while that player was on break.
The plastic box over the stack is an awesome idea! Never seen it before but it keeps the action running and makes sure the table is always full. Great idea in my opinion. You dont have to play short handed when 3 players decide to eat, smoke and chat at the bar for decades
Wolfgang I just recently seen that at a table in Detroit (Motor City Casino). Dude announced a lunch break which apparently covers your spot at the table while you’re gone up to an hour and a half but they still offer the seat to waiting players and just leave the guy who lefts stack there. The whole table thought it was kind of strange.
On that trip 4s hand I might go with a bet/fold strat betting maybe a 1/4 to 1/3 pot. If he's got an over pair he's probably going to call and if you get raised they either have to have stones to bluff a flush on a paired board or they've got you beat.
How did you manage filming at Riverside in the poker room? Did you get special permission? I play their alot and the dealers are like hawks with electronics during hands.
New to poker videos, I was shocked seeing people ordering and eating food at the table! Is this poker or the olive garden? I would put my plate on that plastic box 🍔🍟🥤
On that first hand with KQ, did you not realize that the 9 also brings in QJ and 10 9? Surprised that you thought the nine doesn't change much. I have never seen that with the box. Usually they make an announcement and pick up the player's chips.
Ah, my old stomping grounds, Riverside. A couple notes here: 1. The wave is easily the coolest new tradition in college football. To have 70,000 fans waving at all those sick kids and them waving back, feeling the love. Man, gives me goosebumps. 2. Prairie Meadows in Des Moines is pretty good, but I like the poker game at Riverside better. 3. Is there anything cooler than a 1/13th pot-sized river value bet?!
Where is little blue bird card holder this vlog , very entertaining your videos, I feel like my poker is improving when I play online for fun, in 2023 I will go all in at the Bicycle casino, aqui Nestor peace !
Congratulations on the 2640 win! Keep up the winning, though with that check-raise he could have pocket pair, probably the other two ladies, or a low boat. He knew you’d have rope, he wanted you to get a little more so he could do what he wanted using that rope.
I played poker in there one time back in 2010 ish and lost to the experienced guys. Haven't played since. But i need to do something because those slots are killing me.
On the hand when you flop the flush with A10, you should overbet the pot on the river, make it Look like you want to ”buy” the pot. The 400 just screams ”value”
Never seen the box over the chips so another can play. Typically where i play if a player is gone to long and its a busy night they will remove the player and chips. But you have to be gone for a few hrs before anyone would even say anything
NEVER SAW THAT KIND OF THING WHERE THE FLOOR PUTS A BOX OVER THE PLAYERS STACK/ IVE SEEN THE FLOOR TAKE THE STACK OUT OF PLAY WHILE COUNTING IT AND BAGGING IT UP JUST LIKE A TOURNAMENT
$100 with the set of 4’s is an aboviosi blocker bet. Most opponents would pick up on that and the could rip it in and out you in a tough spot. I prolly would bet small still but no less that 400
Btw you asked what would we do if we had 42 in the flop is 10 448 queen 3 spades and we’re first to act well if you bet he may be raise if you check and he checks back at least the part is over $1000 so what I would do is check
On the trip 4s hand, I would bet $500 and fold to a raise. There are hands that beat you but tons that don’t. You’re missing out on value betting 1/13th of the pot.
I'm a reg at this room and other regs I was playing with were talking about how you lost a bit back at 1/2 this same night after your 2/5 session and you walked away from the 1/2 game with about $100. Also, your friend claimed in the video he won $260, but they said he actually busted out. But I suppose that's not as good content for the vlog, is it? I guess what you said is true - a truly honest poker player? Unheard of!
LOL i came back to riverside the next day with friends after a night of football, drinking, and fun. i splashed around in the 1/2 with them, 2 of which had never played poker so it wasn’t serious. i don’t film all my sessions and definitely wouldn’t if i was tipsy as the audio and footage would be terrible haha. but yeah i think i lost ~200 in those 2 hours. as for my friend, idk what his +/- was i just asked him at the end of the session for the outro clip and that’s what he said. at the end of the day i try to make entertaining videos that i’d have fun looking back on in the future. thanks for watching :)
Nice win, brother!!! Where can I get that hat?? It would be cool 😎 if I could get an autographed one, I'll pay shipping. I can pay you through Cashapp. I'll even pay the Cashapp transfer to bank instantly fee. Deal?? LMK. 🤜🤛
Yeah dude! This is wild to see you there. Riverside is my old stomping grounds.
Prairie meadows in Des Moines has some action. It’d be worth checking out.
Thanks for chatting a little on TT tonight! Told you I've been a fan forever! Keep up the good work.
Keep up the good work! I enjoyed speaking with you the other night online. Your definitely the nicest vlogger I have meet.
appreciate the kind words matt!
damn i live and go to school here how did i miss this😭
Haven't regularly played at the Horseshoe in Hammond for quite awhile but they would do "play overs" there. They didn't use a box. They would rack up the player's chips & put an upside rack over the rack or each rack.
Crazy I haven’t seen this one yet. You should make it back!
Wolfy you should also check out the horseshoe in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Good action and very soft.
Good move on the Q on the river spaded board 👍
Heard of playing over a player but haven't seen a venue do it yet. Seems smart prevents a lot of empty seats
As a an up and coming poker player and huge college football fan you’re really giving me something to strive for in the short term my man. Any advice as to how you manage the swings while handling a lot of overhead traveling and going to these games all the time would be greatly appreciated

@@Wolfgang_Poker definitely down my man keep up the hard work hope to see a nice upswing in both of our futures
Thank for this absolutely fabulous, never ending trip since rent got to expensive. Please bring that intro back. At least randomly.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have seen a play over box at Horseshoe in Hammond.
Motor City Casino in Michigan also
allows a play over.

Interesting. I've never seen this either.
Thats a first. Usually they remove the other chips. Well you stay safe. And happy holidays 😊
Great job Wolfy u killed it bro! 💯🤯 Run good all-day.. 👍
Great session! Keep it up bud .
I've seen the playing over another players stack because they been gone a while. It's crazy and alot of times you get weird action but good action
The plastic box over the stack is an awesome idea! Never seen it before but it keeps the action running and makes sure the table is always full. Great idea in my opinion.
You dont have to play short handed when 3 players decide to eat, smoke and chat at the bar for decades
We just put chips in the rack and cover them with another rack where I play they do play overs also
I have seen it several times in Las Vegas (playing over).
Just played at Riverside yesterday on 1/2. Bought in for $200, left with $1,065 for my biggest cash so far! Amazing to see vlogs from my casino!!
Amazing win Wolfgang. Keep doing what you do. nice card protector you got btw :)
Great session really happy for you!
That plastic box is crazy. Returning to the table to claim your seat back has to be awkward asl 😂
Any recommendations on a website to play other than bovada
That’s weird seeing that glass lol but keep the videos coming bro
Man, i haven't played in Riverside in YEARS. i remember when that casino was built.
tell me if im off but can u lead small flop 14:54 if co never has aq and str also?
Congratulations on your win No one deserves it more
That's happened before at FireKeepers and I still don't understand why...
Where's your card protector...
Is that a Rampage card protector...

We do play overs at MGM Detroit too just put the chips in a rack and cover them with another rack.
Happens all the time at MGM Detroit when people are on a break
Great Vid.
where did u get your cap KK? i want one.
Good one😁
I’ve played over someone’s stack at Horseshoe Tunica plenty of times.
On that trip 4s hand I might go with a bet/fold strat betting maybe a 1/4 to 1/3 pot. If he's got an over pair he's probably going to call and if you get raised they either have to have stones to bluff a flush on a paired board or they've got you beat.

I played in that room many many many many times. Never did that well in hold'em but I did do a couple $4,000 plus wins in PLO.
Play overs are regular in most of the Michigan casinos you just played in...the box is something I've never seen, usually just a rack (top and bottom)
My home casino. Pissed I missed you!
Bang bang bang🎉🎉🎉🎉.
BANG.!!!!!!😂

42 hand I think you did the right thing there. There was a lot that could beat you there!
Lets goooooo!
detroit casinos also have play overs for lunch they rack you chips and place a chip rack over the top.

hahah appreciate the cool comment! hope everything’s going well and thanks for watching my videos josh!

Plastic box is weird. What happens when they come back? When it's busy, Wendover casinos enforce 30 min limit.
Where mudkip (spelling)? Your bird chip protector? Did he get the night off?
Congratulations on the 2640 win! Keep up the winning, though with that check-raise he could have pocket pair, probably the other two ladies, or a low boat. He knew you’d have rope, he wanted you to get a little more so he could do what he wanted using that rope.
Wolf, your video’s make day. I have to watch it bro otherwise.. error 404. Greetings from Tilburg-Noord a mattie
I would check
I played poker in there one time back in 2010 ish and lost to the experienced guys. Haven't played since. But i need to do something because those slots are killing me.
Des Moines card room isn’t very good but the Horseshoe Council Bluffs is pretty nice.
On the hand when you flop the flush with A10, you should overbet the pot on the river, make it Look like you want to ”buy” the pot. The 400 just screams ”value”
Agree, I like that play
Yea for sure
The 2 is a not a great card. He loses to 55 which is a hand Villain could have
Never seen the box over the chips so another can play. Typically where i play if a player is gone to long and its a busy night they will remove the player and chips. But you have to be gone for a few hrs before anyone would even say anything
Cool play
They do playovers in st louis
Was the guy at the end fake baby Mariano? Lol
Come down to Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay
what is the traffic like in that room on a weekly basis? was actually looking at applying to be a dealer there
NEVER SAW THAT KIND OF THING WHERE THE FLOOR PUTS A BOX OVER THE PLAYERS STACK/ IVE SEEN THE FLOOR TAKE THE STACK OUT OF PLAY WHILE COUNTING IT AND BAGGING IT UP JUST LIKE A TOURNAMENT
In those 2/5 games , what's your vpip ? Think I'm still too loose, 🤣
Always hate having to fold pocket nueves
BANGG++++let's go
PS, good bet, I was check calling...+EV
I'm thinking about your awful night at Hustler this week. So bad, hope you rebound asap!
$100 with the set of 4’s is an aboviosi blocker bet. Most opponents would pick up on that and the could rip it in and out you in a tough spot. I prolly would bet small still but no less that 400
Bro Wolfgang when you will bank roll challenge?
Btw you asked what would we do if we had 42 in the flop is 10 448 queen 3 spades and we’re first to act well if you bet he may be raise if you check and he checks back at least the part is over $1000 so what I would do is check
I like to see a vlogger use a card protector.
I don’t think the q checks with 2 spades into 4 players. Probably 1010 or something but had you beat
I have seen this at a few places but usually they just pick the absent player up🤷♂️
Football ⚽️
What? No Mudkip? 😮 lol
I saw player playing over player in St. Louis Missouri at AmeriStar.
you def wont be able to record if you go to Prairie Meadows in Des Moines lol
How are you doing today
Yo what opening beat is that?! Shit is ❤️🔥
LFG !!
You have to bet there
On the trip 4s hand, I would bet $500 and fold to a raise. There are hands that beat you but tons that don’t. You’re missing out on value betting 1/13th of the pot.
Pocket nueves 😱
I WOULD ERR ON THE SIDE OF AGGRESSION, BET 750-850
If I’m in that spot I check and if he bets small to below like 1/2 pot I call if he shoves I most likely fold tbh . Hate to see the spade there
A POKER PLAYER ACTUALLY TELLING THE TRUTH! SACRILIEGE!!😇
🤣🤣🤣

Dealer..😴😴💤💤💤😂😂
Blocker bet 100
I would have made a bet of about 245 on the 9, 7 hand. Its value for your hand or ay least he folds and no one knows you raised 9, 7
WOULDNT IT BE COOL IF YOU PLAYED POKER IN EVERY CASINO IN THE LOWER 48?😄
sheeesh that would be something!
Wolfgang hopefully one day we can meet but I would love to enter into winning $3000 that would be great for Christmas signed me up love you bro
Ok, dumb question. How do you track wins/losses for tax purposes? Does anyone bother to do this or are poker winnings tax-free, lol?
Nice win, brother!!! Where can I get that hat?? It would be cool 😎 if I could get an autographed one, I'll pay shipping. I can pay you through Cashapp. I'll even pay the Cashapp transfer to bank instantly fee. Deal?? LMK. 🤜🤛
Never seen a player playing in another player's seat. I don't like the look of it.
Way to play, sexy! Love seeing great sessions like that!!
GO HAWKS!!
At Potawatomi you can play over another player also.
50 more of these you’ll make up the money on HCL
