They were playing PLO. In PLO, a player must use 2 of their cards out of the 4 they are dealt and 3 cards from the board. He only had one spade (Ace of spades) in his hand. He would need the Ace of spades and another spade in his hand to make a flush with 3 spades on the board. Hope that helps!
That bluff at the end and those flips were unnecessary. You have to be more careful in locking up wins. Being up is a good feeling but being upstuck well you already now. When i play now and i am winning i try to remember the times when i became upstuck and learn from it. Hope you do too.
I wanna talk about the flopped set 10's. You almost played it too tricky. Even with AK, I may have made you for a set. Probably would call, but may have winked at you and called you out for 10,10. Or 7,7. Flop was checked, ya know? See ya next time in the Midwest. Thx, WG.
