    When I felt air hunger yesterday, I was driving home and started breathing in for 3 and exhaling for 6 and after a while the air hunger went away. This morning I’m also continuing the in for 3 and out for 6 for 3 minutes and it helps out so much.

      Hi @@shelley7209
      Any possible medical diagnoses will have to be discussed with your personal physician, however, we have seen functional breathing vastly improve the symptoms of thousands of people over the years.
      A huge proportion of those people are suffering with lung problems like asthma and pulmonary fibrosis.
      Learning to nose breathe can be very difficult and takes daily work on breathing exercises but it is a great benefit in helping to manage such symptoms.

    I have a problem. I’ve gone from doing daily holds to then one day overdoing my walking and general exertion. I now suddenly have ‘no’ desire to breathe and my BOLT score is extremely high from only being 15 or so. Has my Long Covid body cells finally stop producing enough CO2 ? Ive been on oxygen since I left the hospital. Ive got an oxy generator in my house. Ive only just heard of this method. I stayed in the hospital for 22 days with double pneumonia. Im out now and pretty much been on my own. Ive been doing short walks that sort of thing. I feel as though im a prisoner of this oxygen if i remove the cannula my blood saturation rate goes into the 80s after a pretty short walk without my oxygen. Is there any risk in going from this oxygen to your methods or anything that I should know?

      My wife finds Patrick's videos very helpful esp breath hold for coughing. She also used marshmallow root tea, and warm (not hot) fresh ginger tea with pure unpasteurized honey and lemon first thing in morning. Also try laying on your side or stomach to help breathing and small vaporizer, warm mist humidifier by bed with eucalytus oil in scent holder overnight and or hot shower when coughing is worst. Hope any of this helps.

      Hang in. I’ve had long Covid for months and now just using inhaler 1xday and walking more free of chest pain. Still get bouts of fatigue, light headed but no fast heart beat. I used supplements and from lots of research a very clean, low fat (except for chia, flax, hemp seeds) plant based diet. Lots of green smoothies. But practice your breathing for sure. I tried deep ones at first but as he said only makes it worse. Also videos on how to lay on stomach to free up lungs. I put small pillow near underarms and one at waist. It will get better. ❤️✨

    I caught covid in March 2020 which led to an irregular breathing pattern which means I have a strong urge to take a deep breath about once every 30 seconds to a minute (I take 1 deep breath on average about once every 30 seconds or once a minute.). I have been to hospital and had numerous tests but I haven't been told why I have this air hunger / strange breathing pattern. I have watched a few of your videos now. Is it possible I am too sensitive to carbon dioxide and that normal rates of carbon dioxide for most people is something I am too sensitive to now which forces me to take a deep breath? I know that carbon dioxide sensitivty can make you breath harder and faster (my breathing is not hard and fast, the irregular part of my breathing is the need to take a deep breath) is it possible that a carbon dioxide sensitivy post covid has created the need to take a deep breath once every 30 seconds or so? Just one more thing to add. If I meditate and breath really low and shallow, I can force myself not to take a deep breath, but the urge to do so is there for pretty much the entire 15 minutes of meditation (a really big build up of pressure). This irregular urge/breathing pattern has been going on for 3 years and is very debilitating

    • @OxygenAdvantage
      @OxygenAdvantage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi @delboy9617,
      It certainly is possible.
      When you say 'deep breath' are you taking a big gulps of air through the mouth using your upper chest?
      The low breathing during meditation should help, but you should be breathing through the nose.
      Try following the breathing exercises for Covid on the Oxygen Advantage App.

    My breath rate is about 8 breaths per minute and when watching the breath exercise of 3 seconds in and 3 second out, that's way to fast for me. It feels like I'm having to speed up my breathing rather than slow it down.
    I'd assume this is a good thing, that I breath very slowly, yet my breath hold time is only around 10 seconds.
    What's going on?

    • @breathcards
