- This Game has 130 stars, 12 powerups, a completely new soundtrack, many new bosses and a large variety of completely new levels. Over 4000 hours of work finally come together.
It is really difficult for Nintendo standards and i recommend you to not try to get every last thing, unless you are very determined to beat the game 100% and have played through SM64 before.

Well, there went my plans on being productive today.
Guess it balanced out the amount of work I got done yesterday...

+Nintega Dario Not sure if I can, haven't gotten in Wii U yet.
Though the ugly-looking SM64 import is really tempting to out do. Even if it's really limited, I can at the very least have the correct texture mapping for the eyes (the current ones are too small) since I'm guessing they had to be remapped for one reason or another.
Anyways I been waiting so I can finish more stuff for Brawl and other games, as well as that: I've got stuff for a lot of game. :P

Yes I do now that I know how to properally make custom models, Bob & Larry were actually my first two fully custom models.
Though the real problem is the rig, might try importing over Kirby so that they look less static, though the mouth will be a pain.

Update: I played 20 stars in, and this rom hack takes the cake from Star Road as the best SM64 Rom hack in my opinion. The music selection is great, level design is spot on, and all of the custom boss fights, at least the ones i've done so far, are original and nice!

Talk to the Bob-Omb in the tent. Make sure you've completed the mission with the spiky rocks first.
HitlersWaffles If you haven't completed the mission with the spiky rocks he won't give you the hint.
HitlersWaffles There's only one more step after that one. I think you have to go to the top left, and then hit the one below that.
Can I play this on Everdrive 64?
No it doesn't work. Tested on NTSC console with 2.5 Everdrive.
The problem is not the Everdrive 64 (or any other flash cartridge), the problem is that the mod won't work on a real N64. This is because the editor used to create the mod was never tested on a real N64, and so it does things that the N64 can't do (certain types of memory access and sound chip usage, I think).
Someone should fix the editing software so that it can only create Mario 64 hacks that run on the real N64 hardware, but for some reason this hasn't happened yet.
I think there should be an option for that instead. Another idea is the tool to tell you if this would run on an N64 console or not.
I've only heard of this hack right now and I can say that this'll be the best 64 hack I will ever play. The amount of things you incorporated whether new or throwbacks from other Mario games is astonishing. Those 4000+ hours must of been so worth it.

I got stuck into walls so many times
I even found a glitch that lets you skip into the bowser level by killing yourself on the castle area (I did it by swimming near the sunken ship and crushing yourself by swimming into it)
and in the end I gave up after I got litereally stuck into a wall cause of bad platform placement
the camera needs work too
but the whole thing feels rushed and unpolished
so it wasnt a very pleasant experience
can you explain the glitch
Bugs and glitches happen with any Super Mario 64 fan hack (especially ones with completely new courses such as this one), not just Last Impact.
Heck, I'd even say this is one of the more stable romhacks I've played. Super Mario Star Road, for example, despite my love for it has so many technical errors with it.
at the castle area the sunkenship is placed inside a wall
if you keep swimming into the top of it itll squish mario and you will get stuck
and after waiting for like a few seconds mario will die and respawn inside of the locked area and then teleport into the cave where the bowser level is

yeah but the thing is im not super interested in star road ds because i already played the first one, it's super mario 64 ds is to mario 64, aka not interesting and only worth checking out with the mindset of "hey look at this cool new dlc, it doesn't change a lot up but i'll still check it out"
Well that's not what Skellux says. Seems like he adds lot of new feature compared to the original Star Road, to the point he considered to rename it in Star Road 2.

this romhack is absolutely sick i cant imagine how long it must have taken you to make it. every level is filled with life and i love the many powers you added especially the spider mario which is really fun to play. new mechanics, objects and enemies that you had to code from scratch thats really impressive kaze emanuar. thank you so much for this masterpiece of a romhack

I may sound like a little overhyped kiddie, but... seriously, I just found this today. And right from the start, up to the end (well, to the part where I had to stop playing for today) this hack kept amazing me with every friggin new area I saw.
The intense quality and the breathtaking details, combined with the many cute references and the well made new mechanics just makes me feel like I'm finally getting the Super Mario 64 Sequel I always wanted. This hack is getting a lot of attention, and it deserves even more! I'm just so amazed by what you made out of this game...
I gotta stop before I spill everything on the ground, but really, this made a dream come true - in a way nicer way than I ever imagined it!
