  • I made this video for my other TH-cam channel. Thought I would post it here as well as someone might find it useful. I am thinking about picking this channel back up soon. Let me know if you guys would be interested in that.

Just out of pure technical and scientific interest. Ok so I know how the vacuum breaker valve works, I know how the pressure release (safety valve) works.
*What pressure spec (trigger pressure) do you recommend for most pot stills when choosing a pressure release valve?*
Water heaters are one thing but the pressures inside most copper pot stills is largely unknown to most? (since there are so many of those valves for sale at the plumbing section at different trigger pressures)

Hi. I have a quick question about the final coating after cleaning. Wax would melt, so how else do you treat the surface? Keep the videos coming!! You have a lot of information about getting the right mix working
    Thank you for your time,
    Steven

Great job, love your videos and your channel! I’m starting a limited distillery in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and need help on determining the ABV of my blended spirits. Do you have any videos or formless that I can use and help calculating this. I know it’s different because I’m adding sugars and blending it with juices to give it a very smooth taste. But I know that throws off the ABV.

I’m pretty sure either one of those acids would work by itself. Vinegar is acetic acid and I don’t think you need the citric.

I stumbled across your video because I wanted to clean some copper jewelry...but the minute I saw your set up I was hooked.
I just wanted to comend you on your sobriety, I am just new to this sober life and I just can't imagine how hard it must have been for you.
Personally speaking I'm not sure if I could have gotten sober if I had the setup that you have. Unfortunately it took me getting chased by 6 cop car's while driving my husband's John Deere 🚜 the story gets a lot of laughs but honestly at my age it's just embarrassing.
I just wanted to tell you that you made the right choice and you are not alone on this journey.
Keep on getting on my friend ❤

Hays off to you for quitting drinking. How some ever the system you have is awesome and I'm sure it turns out some high proof very tasty stuff.
